I have a 3 yr old LG that stopped working..coming up with error code LE. All board members seem to agree it is a motor failure. I have replaced the moter with no luck.. Does anyone have anyother advice??
Ok if that's the correct code then it will likely be a communication problem between the motor and control panel ie loose wire broken wire resistance on the touch pad control ribbon which can be cleaned with a pencil eraser by the way or something along those lines the control just thinks the motor is bad because it cant communicate with it maybe

The LE error code usually means motor failure. The problem is .... the motor was replaced with new one and the error persists
What I've been told by LG is that it could be 3 different error codes...
It's a two digit code, with second digit "E" but the first digit could be the numeral 1, the letter i, or the letter l
if it's an " i " then it's not your motor...it just means that water isn't getting to the dishwasher for some reason (this is the problem i'm having right now...i'm trying to find out how i can find the water filter to clean/replace it).
Just a thought...
My is comming up with LE as well, and the water will not drain out....
i dont have acess to lg data what is the le code mean
