Question about Samsung SyncMaster 710VT TFT LCD Monitor
This has nothing to do with shielding or noisy controls or bad cables.
The problem is caused by the PULSUS PS9829B digital audio processor. We ordered it in from a Samsung authorized service centre.
Problem is now solved. Unit works perfectly. If you have never tried working with surface-mount ICs I would skip it if I were you. This IC has over 100 pins on it. However the part is available from Samsung. Print this comment and take it to your local service centre along with your receiver. They should be able to repair the board unless they are wussies and cannot do surface-mount work.

Where do we find the part and i have the same unit but the static popping noise is all the time will the pulses be the problem

Almost all static noise is an issue of shielding ...so ..check (change ) the cable ...or the coupling (jack or whatever plug it has) ..check to be inserted right ..and move it a little and see if it has a position in which it makes the noise...if it does than the plug is to blame and it can be changed...probably the noise disappears when slightly moved or something like that ...This is applied to the cable too ...see if it is nearby any electrical device ...and check if the actual noise is heard when that device is on ....Any electrical device has an electr-magnetic field that (in case the shielding of the cable is not right or damaged in some place) will interfere with the steaming on the cable..
so ...to check if it is the cable ...just change them between themselves and see if teh static is still present ...if is not..get another cable...
also check the thing with the device ...you may have a TV or something like that and the cable passes near by ...and when this one is on to make the noise..

Indeed, the gain switches in the MK I and MK I+ when brand new can cause the static you are experiencing. If you use come electronics cleaner and spray it into the switch and then move it to the various positions several times, it should resolve the issue.
