I can't type, and I've changed the bats. and tried connecting still doesnt' work....any ideas? is there some type of key lock??

I have a MX 3000 corless DEsk top that is doing the same thing. I've changed the batteries and reconnected. The keyboard is talking to the receiver because I can use the scroll wheel. Also when I push the F key on the keyboard it turns the F light off on the receiver. I've tried connecting both before and after robooting and nothing works. It seems like the keyboard is locked-up but there doesn't seem to be a lock key.

    Any other suggestions?

After trying to fix my own keyboard for 3 days it seems I was able to fix the connectivity with a receiver update from logitech. Look for the rcvr update this made the connection work finally.

I have a MX 3200 wireless keyboard and mouse. the

The problem was that ther keyboard was encrypted for my protection. this sometimes prevents the keyboard from connecting to the receiver and therefore the computer. to stop encrypton: press the left CRTL + left ALT + F12 key at the same time. Press the connect button on the receiver (you only have a few seconds to then press the connect button on the keyboard. Press the ESC key. Now you must start the encrypton again. Install SetPoint software from www.logitech.com/downloads. after you save and run the program, then press left CTRL + left ALT + F12 keys. sometimes there is an encrytpion wizard that pops up to help you further encrypt the keyboard, but this does not always pop up. It didn't on mine. My keyboard just started working right after i re-sarted the encryption.

hope this helps others that were in my situation.
