Question about Jenn-Air 30 in. CVE3401 Electric Cooktop
My Jenn Air Cooktop Model CVE3401 large right hand burner will turn on but will NOT turn off. I really have to work with the dial to get the thing to turn off, it usually takes a along time before it will completely turn off. Do I need to replace the whole cooktop or can I replace an element; if so what and how?
The part you need to replace is the switch. The switch is housed under the top and connects to the dial you are turning.
The switch for the dual burner is 12002125, and 74011242 for the single burner.
The single burner switch runs about $20.00 and the dual runs about $50.00 for the parts
