Question about Tomtom GO 910 GPS Receiver

1 Answer

Tomtom 910. Hi, My Tomtom 910 has been sitting in the bottom draw for a month....I took it out yesterday to use it but no joy! I charged the Tomtom for 2hrs the green charge light was showing. I unplugged the unit from the mains, and switched it on...The Tomtom logo.(Black screen and the two Tomtom red hands appear.) For about 30 seconds then the screen goes to green with a picture of the satnav unit in the top left hand corner. I have tried resetting the unit but it just does the above....I have tried resetting the unti several times, and no joy? Any ideas. Thank you in advance...........AudiTT.

My tomtom 910 does not charge but the charging light comes on so what can i do

Hello there:
What i suggest is removing the battery and check the connections where the battery sits and see if there is any loose connections or is dirty and needs cleaning , and if the battery itself has a bad cell in it it wont charge properly you can take it to your nearest tomtom dealer and have them bench test it too to help find out what is going on with this unit ok>
I hope that this is very helpfull for you.
best regards michael

Tomtom 910 problem

Hummm, this is a tough one...

1: Can you see the device in win explorer?
If yes, try to run "chkdsk /f" in a dos prompt.

2: Do you have a working backup?
Then you can format the internal drive through Windows or similar. Format with FAT32, the reinstall backup.

3: Run the Clear Flash tool:
Download:

Read:

3: Still no joy?
Then maybe send it in for repair, or buy a new one?
