Take the blade back off and make sure that you have the inner flange on correctly and see if there was a spacer between the bearing and inner flange.

Need to know how to change blade on rockwell motorized miter saw model 34-010 8' blade

Some blades have a little hole; in them to put a small screwdriver or even a nail in to hold the blade when you put a wrench on it to loosen the nut. If there is no hole I use a small screwdriver and put it in the teeth to hold as I turn the nut out Mine has a cover you have to undo before taking the blade off.

Why is the arbor turning when I turn the nut to remove the blade. there is not place to put a wrench on the back side of the blade. craftsman saw about 18 years old.

Put a screwdriver in the teeth of the blade when to go to loosen them. Will not hurt the blade. if the blade 's teeth is too small use a small screwdriver or even a nail will work.

How can I change the blade for my 2 speed hand mixer? The model type is NC-12 if you need to know

you are using your KitchenAid blender and it stops blending, you may think there is a problem with the motor in your machine. However, a common reason for the blades not rotating in the blender is a dirty or faulty coupler. The coupler is what connects your blender dispenser to the motor, and you can easily replace the coupler at any time by only using a screwdriver.
Things You'll Need
  • Flat-blade screwdriver
    • 1 Turn the blender dispenser clockwise and lift up to remove it. Set the blender dispenser aside.
    • 2 Insert a flat-blade screwdriver between the black drive coupler and the frame of the blender on the top center portion of the blender.
    • 3 Lift the screwdriver upward, and the coupler will start to bend out of place. Slightly turn the coupler and then lift up on the screwdriver again.
    • 4 Continue to move the coupler slightly and lift the screwdriver until the coupler is completely removed.
    • 5 Insert the new coupler over the blender's motor blade and then twist the coupler counter-clockwise until it is tightly fastened.

Just received a used Bosch B4200 jig saw and I can't figure out how to change the blade. This is the first bayonet style blade jig saw I've owned. I don't see a screw to release the blade.

If this is similar to mine, (sorry I don't recall the model number, but it's a GREAT saw!) there is a knob or lever on top of the handle that you pull up about 1/2 inch. Then you turn that handle 3 or 4 turns (counterclockwise) to unscrew the clamp holding the blade. When you do this you can't see anything happing, but the blade can then be pushed into the holder just a bit and twisted 90 degrees, then you can pull it out. Installation is the reverse. Don't overtighten the handle, just turn it clockwise until it stops, then back it up until it lines up with the handle and you can push it back down. Good luck, Please vote if you found this helpful.

How to remove a blade from a 2.5 hp sears table 10 inch tablesaw

First and foremost unplug the unit from the receptacle. Raise the blade as high as it will go and have it set to 0 degrees in a vertical position. Remove the throat plate (usually red) so you can access the bolt holding the blade in place. The saw came with a wrench for this purpose. It may have even come with 2 wrenches. One to remove the bolt holding the blade on and another to place behind the blade on the shaft to hold the motor. If it only has one wrench look for a small hole in the blade and use a screwdriver to keep the blade from turning. If there is no tool or hole to hold the blade then use a heavy scrap piece of wood to hold the blade while you remove the bolt. As you remove the blade notice the direction the teeth are pointing and put the new blade on turning in the same direction. You just reverse the procedure to put the new blade on. NOTE: Some saws have a motor lock that locks the motor and blade in position making it easier to change the blade. Just be very careful as it is easy to cut yourself on the blade.

Insert a small standard screwdriver in the slot in the center of the bottom. Turn the blade slowly until you feel the screwdriver catch in the slot. This holds the motor still so you can simply unscrew the blade counter-clockwise. Do the same to hold the motor from turning while you screw the new blade on clockwise.

Security screws on bottom of coffeemaker

I took a small (cheap) slot screwdriver with a blade just wide enough to fit into the wide part of the screw. I then took a hacksaw to the center of the screwdriver blade. This works best if the hacksaw blade is fairly thick. The idea is to remove enough of the center of the screwdriver blade so that the screwdriver can be inserted into the screw allowing the hacked out area of the screwdriver blade to fit around the stupid center post of the screw. The screws on mine weren't that tight, so I could turn the screws without twisting the screwdriver blade.
