Question about Toshiba Computers & Internet
To diagnose a problem with such limited information such as your
problem, you have to start at the wall plug and work from there. It may
be the AC/DC adapter is not providing electricity. It may be the battery
has gone completely dead, in which case the laptop will not fire up. If
it were a hardware problem, such as hard drive failure, ETC. the laptop
would at least make noise, and at least display something such as a
blinking cursor or beep a code. Was it dropped? Did it get wet?
With laptops, the solder of the plug hole at the back of the laptop gets weak and cracks because of the plug wire being pulled and constantly wiggling. check to see if the power socket at the back wiggles, If it does, a technition needs to solder a new plug, at a cost of about $100. . Best buy sells new power adapters for about $80-$100
