A low quality power supply pack (brick) to the wall outlet is most likely to be the cause of your problem.

Look for the power supply pinout and test it with a replacement power pack.

==
Plug the power pack onto the same power strip of the audio source (Example: your tuner) will also help rule out grounding problem.

Turn off any motor operated item (example: heater fan) to rule out noise from other appliance.

Why i can hear faint sound on my mixing amplifier

Depends on what sound it is. If it's a hum, then it could be a fault. If the hum is on one channel then the place to look is that channel. You can compare the good channel with the bad one for clues as to what.
If it is in both channels then you are looking at the power supply. Or something common to both channels.
Hum is most often caused by Electrolytic Capacitors.
Crackling noises are caused by resistors, or transistors, or IC's.

My tv is buzzing & the sound doesn't come on when I change channels

I need a little more information. Does the TV show a picture? Do you have audio on some channels or no audio at all.
Is the noise you hear of a low frequency, i.e. low hum? One thing you might try is unplugg yo6r TV from the wall for about 60 seconds or so, plug back in and see if the problem goes away. if not contact me back with the info I asked about. thanks

Td 307 hum

Generally hum is associated with Capacitors, though in this case it might a semiconductor (transistor or IC) that is getting hot and when it does causes the noise. If this is the case you can feel around with your finger to see if any of these is getting very hot to touch. If the noise is in both channels then you could looking at something that is common to both channels. Not much help though if it's an IC as they tend to work both channels these days. One way of finding out is to use Servisol Freezer spray on a suspect part. You wait while the noise appears then blast the parts (one at a time) with the spray. If the noise goes away on one part, but not on others, you will have found your part that is faulty.

I have a pair of JM lab Electra 905 speakers, running through a DNM amp and power amps. When powered up, the left speaker makes a very loud humming noise. This has happened recently. I haven't changed...

Hello
Switch on your amp, keep its volue down to extreme low, and listen if there is still hum through the left channel or not. If still there is hum, the left side power amplifier section inside the amp;ifier is faulty. If htere is no hum at this state, hum enters thorugh the audio input terminal, and the input wires must be checked for open sheild connection. OK.

My receiver produces a humming noise that is so dang annoying I can't stand it. On top of that you have to have the volume of 50 or better to even he speakers what can be the problem?

I had this problem also on a different set top box (STB). What I did to get rid of that annoying humming noise was to unplug the RED plug only (from red, yellow, white combination) from the back of the STB, YEY!!! peace!!! This did not interfere with the picture or audio quality.

All three lights turn on like normal and then nothing

Depending on the pitch. humming noises are either a motor ie: fan motor or if it is very low a defective capacitor . Since you have the yellow band and the high pitched beep my fist thought is somthing defective in the power supply. Take it to an authorized servicer.

What do I do.

Is it in standby? Have you tried pressing channel buttons on the remote and the front of the set?

If that's not it, then you need to take it to a repair shop. Could be any number of things unfortunately.
