Pull out the drawer.at the bottom near the front panel at both sides, press the square tabs in and pull the drawer further. When you have the clearance from the edge of the drawer, lift it up out of the rails then put it down to floor. It may not be the hose. I think the top lid seal is sagging down causing the resistance. If this is a case, you need to replaces both actuators to lift up and down the lid to overcome this problem.
Good luck.

WHIRLPOOL Washer #LA5578XTW0 won't drain

Is the end of the hose where the water comes out into the sewage up at the top height of the machine? on some machines if it is lower than the top height (not lower or heigher but level with the top of the machine) it automatacally closes off the drain Flapper preventing the water from draining.

check the hose; disconnect the hose from the machine and take a deep breath and blow through the hose as hard as you can. if there is no obstruction, replace the hose ( bet there is a sock stuck in the drain hose).

with the drain hose off~check where it connects to the machine, some machines have a "flapper" that closes when the machine is in operation and opens when it drains. Unplug the machine, then see if the flapper is loose enough to open and close. Also check to see if something is stuck behind that "flapper" preventing it from opening to let the water drain.

I have a small piece of plastic stuck in the drain hose of my fisher paykel top dish washer drawer. I have tried cable wire but it does not budge after about 3 inches. Is there a way to remove the bottom...

There are two pieces of drain house in a double drawer FP dishwasher. The one from top drawer, the one from bottom drawer which then merge into a U adapter before hoing as a single hose into the kitchen sink.
I don't think anything can be achieved by taking the bottom drawer out. If the obstruction is in the top drawer drain hose, you will have to take that out and turn it over and disengage the hose from the bottom of the sump. Your best bet is to refer to this install guide on removing the drawers. Refer page 7 step 2.

Use reverse method to put it back in. Make sure you keep a stool nearby to hold the drawer in place and not let it fall on the floor. The cables and hoses are very tight and need care when handling.

Most likely the lid seal is dislodged and is obstructing the bottom drawer. Need to manually operate the lid seal actuator yoke and motor to bring the seal back to normal position. Can be messy.
Will need to get the bottom drawer out from housing and work on lid seal assembly located in the main housing.

My Fisher Paykel DD603I top draw whines when it is first turned

The lid seal on the top drawer is faulty and needs replacement. It might be cut or damaged and is obstructing the drawer from closing. THis also may have caused the flood switch to trip as water can leak if drawer is not sealed.

Top Draw on Fisher & Paykel double draw not closing

Make sure that the retaining tabs on either side of the drawer at the lower front are engaged properly. They sometimes don't positively engage and you will feel the difference when the drawer is pushed. Undo the tabs and re-engage them a couple of times to check. The drawer should run smoothly without resistance when they are engaged correctly. Check how the lower drawer moves to compare.

If the drawer is returning smoothly but feels like it's striking resistance towards the rear just before it's fully home, it's likely that the hoses are kinking/fouling behind the drawer and/or that the linkage support is broken.

If you have this older style white plastic linkage rods that hold the hoses, I would strongly recommend replacing it. It's the white plastic rod that has clamps attached to it with all the power, inlet and drainage hoses running through it.

You can get the 'retro fit linkage support' from an authorised F&P parts supplier. This is a retro fit that has specifically been designed to overcome the shortfalls of the original plastic linkage support. This consists of a metal rod and mounting plate with takes over the function of the plastic drainage support.

There are detailed instrucitons with the retro fit support which explains how to fit it. It was well under $100 when I bought one and worth the investment.

Good luck and remember always turn the power off before attempting any repairs.

Front load duet washer is spewing water out of soap dispenser.

The water flow is restricted into the tub by an obstruction ie sock, lint.
Take the top off and the drawer out. The black hose underneath the dispenser that leads to the tub has something caught at the end. Pull the hose off where it enters the tub and examine, you will find the blockage there.

Top drawer of 2 drawer f and p dishwasher was very hard to slide open and have to really push hard to close, like something is binding

Hi,aside from any obstruction is thet DishDrawer® square and level?. Is the DishDrawer® fastened securely to the cabinetry to prevent flex or movement? If not, the square geometry this appliance requires with affect drawer performance when opening and closing.
This is the most common cause for your problem. I'm not 100% sure, but it is something to take into consideration. Just a thought.

Sounds like the lid is not opening all the way. Rubber may be coming off lid seal during opening and closing. Check you lid actuators replace both right and left if needed.
