Water leaking from the door of my washer

Either the door is damaged or not properly aligned or tightened or the bellows that the door contacts when closed is damaged. Check to see if the door is loose.Carefully inspect the bellows for rips or holes in the rubber. Many times pointed or sharp items are washed in pockets of clothes they end up tearing or puncturing the bottom of the bellows causing the front to leak water.

My frontload washer started leaking water through the front door. I checked the filter at bottom and it is not plugged. What should I check to fix this problem?

Make sure the rubber seal around the door is not a) pinched and bent out of shape b) degraded/deteriorated/ripped/cracked.
Also make sure no one knocked anything and bent anything out of shape.
Is your washer draining properly, otherwise?

During wash or rinse cyle, water leaks from the bottom

open the door, check the rubber boot for any holes, ussually that's where it leaks, also wipe the inside of the door,i've found hair and lint stuck on the inside bottom of the door and water leaks out but pull open the rubber boot and run your fingers all around it to check for any holes.you can remove the bottom panel and then run the machine to see where the leak is coming from.

We have water leaking out of the front of our washer not from the door but from just below the door. Is all over the floor??

most likely you have a hole in the boot seal, the rubber piece in between the door and the tub, also open the door and wipe the bottom part of the door on the plastic window,i've found pieces of hair there and the water travels down the hair and leaks through the door.if that's clean you have a hole in the boot seal, open the door, spread the rubber boot open and with you fingers feel all around the rubber boot

Water has leaked from bottom

do you mean from the bottom of door? if so open door and run your fingers around the rubber gasket to see if there is any forign matter or rips, and check the small drain hole on the inside bottom of gasket, if there is a tear you could repair with a bicycle innertube repair patch

Whirlpool duet washer leaking water

If the washer is leaking around the door area, more than likely the bellow (rubber seal) is ripped or torn. If you pull back the rubber folds in the bellow and inspect, you may find a rip or tear causing your leak.

Another cause can be the rear bellow clamp (clamp that is affixed to the front of the wash tub) can come loose causing a leak between the bellow and tub. All you may have to do is tighten the clamp if this is the case.

The dispenser tube on the left hand side of the door, if not seated through the rubber correctly, can also leak during the fill or rinse cycles. The tube should be inserted through the rubber in the bellow to the flange on the tube. If not, water can fill behind the rubber and drip into the bottom washer casing.

The following link explains how to access and/or replace the the door bellow on a Whirpool Duet:

Searspartsdirect.com, appliancepartspros.com, pcappliancerepair.com and repairclinic.com carry the bellow. All these sites offer competitive pricing, so shop all of them for the best deal.

If you have any questions, or require addtional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you. NOTE: The bellow can also become mishapened over time after frequent use. This can also cause leaks around the door. Look to make sure the bellow is sealing around the door glass. If not, it should also be repalced.

Front loader water leaks from bottom

This problem is usually attributed to the door bellow (rubber gray seal) becoming ripped or torn. If you puill back the folds in the rubber and inspect it, you may find a rip or hole in it some where. Another way to tell is by removing the bottom panel under the door and inspect from underneath. It is common for the front counterweight (concrete block) to become wet if the door bellow is leaking. Now, it is normal for these door bellows to wear out and they can be replaced. The following link explains how:

Replacements can be purchased on line at searspartsdirect.com, appliancepartspros.com, repairclinic.com, or pcappliancerepair.com. All these sites offer competitiive pricing and great service, so shop all of them for the best price. If you still have questions, or require additional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

If my diagnosis is incorrect, please post back and elaborate on where the leak may be coming from so I can assist you better.
