Click on Start, Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, Volume Control. This gives you access to all the different volume controls. Sometimes a program will grab control of the WAV volume and turn it down. Just turn it back up to correct. No guarantees, but give it a try, it can't hurt.

I have no sound

if you rebooted your computer and all the connections and volume settings are right, no mute set. You can check your operating system by using the following link.
http://support.microsoft.com/mats/no_sound

You can also check the speaker on other computers or sound devices to see whether they are working properly.

Sometimes the sound card connection is not connected properly, you can open the box and replug it and press it tight towards the slot on the mother board. If you have a spare sound card, you can check whether the sound card is working by replacing it. If you are playing CD from your CDROM, the cable connection from your CDROM for sound playback to the mother board may not connect properly, you can check to see that two wires are actually connected.

Perform a clean boot if possible to see whether there are software conflicts for the sound. Also you can use the sound card embeded on *********** board to see whether they are working so there might be some configuration issue in BIOS or configuration issue.

I got too card sound in my pc, my icon sound is fine too

have you tried to disable the on board sound? if your sound card is working okay as you say then it wont matter about on board audio. just make sure your speakers are connected to the sound card, not the motherboard audio.

Sound problem

The rear speakers will only produce sound when provided surrount sound content.

Try a first person game or DVD movie. The game or DVD player software need to be properly configured to use surround sound also. Look through their audio settings.
