Question about Panasonic Microwave Ovens
Our panasonic microwave oven has power and will cook for about one second and then completely shut off- like it is shorting out. Can this be fixed? How? It was working perfectly the day before.
It sounds like the power relay on the main control is shutting down. To fix this problem you would need to replace the control (Mother board). Before doing that the magnetron (heat element) should be tested to make sure that it is not what caused the relay to fail.
If you send me your model number I can try and get a ball part price on the parts you need.
