Question about Acer Aspire 5500 5570-2609 Laptop
I have an Acer Aspire 5520-5112 with the built in webcam. My opperating system is Vista. The problem that i am having is when i click on the icon for the crystal eye it says " a problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notifiy you if a solution is available. I have updated the drivers for it and windows as well but still i have this problem. I have though found that if i am a messaging program and they request to see my webcam it will work but not if i send it or just want to take a picture. It does sound wierd but it is true. Hopefully you can help me with this where nobody else has been able to thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
Try taking all your pictures from Windows "my pictures" folder and move them somewhere else. I moved them to another folder and just called it Photos. And all of the sudden my camera worked... I have no idea why!
Hope this helps
