Question about Sharp BDHP20U Blu-Ray Player
This bluray player can be updated with a disc but that method is not guaranteed. Also you will not be automatically sent an update from the manufacturer. The update is on the website http://www.sharpusa.com/CustomerSupport/ProductDownloads.aspx

Click search. Scroll down to the firmware and save it to your desktop.
You will need a 2GB usb device formatted to fat 32.
What next? Just ask.

You need to contact you blu ray manufacture and register your player with them and ask if they could send you out a firmware disc to pop into the player and download the new firmware....takes about 10min or less after you get the disc.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
