Need new internal fan.

I bought a Systemax Venture H335 BTO in 2005. The fan is making allot of noise and I need a new one. I can't find a part number. I think it is a heat sink also, but I'm not sure.

Well meaure it in mm or in inchs, then convert it to mm. Then buy the fan off of newegg.com just make sure you get a two ball bearing fan because they last allot longer.

I need to remove the fan from mother board. Are there instructions on line or a diagram explaining how to remove it.

Try these instructions... All fans are roughly the same procedure.

I have a Systemax Venture computer that is 3 years old. Just developed a problem. Turn the computer on and after 20 to 30 seconds the computer shut down. What is wrong???

Hi there.
Remove all power to the desktop, remove the side panel, power the machine up and check that CPU fan is working, if it is turn the computer back off, get a clean, dry paintbrush and gently clean the fan blades and the metal heat sync behind the fan of dust, then restart the PC to see how long it stays on for. If this time it stays on it was overheating.

Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!!!

New Computer Wont Boot!

when you say "the fan makes a noise like its getting ready to spin", which fan...power supply's or cpu? if you answer power supply, then the POWER OK signal is not returning to power supply and it then quickly shuts down to prevent further damage. double check a firm connection to mother board. If you answer CPU, then it becomes far more complicated. Try re-seating the memory chips.
