Question about Garden
Engine[Kohler Magnum 18] starts and runs fine, but has no power under grass mowing load. Have redone fuel system, drained out old fuel, new filter and lines with no improvement. Suspect it may be coil, condenser, points, or spark plug lines. Suggestions? I need part #'s for the coil and points/condenser.
I live on an island with limited engine parts

If you are able...have someone do a compression check on the engine. Usually if a mower is loosing power and it is a twin cylinder engine, one of the headgaskets may be blown.

When it shuts down crack the fuel cap and listen for the woosh of a vacuum on the fuel tank. If you hear this, clean the pinhole vent in the fuel cap, or replace it. Being partially plugged would cause you to be starved for fuel and could explain your issue, and why it goes away after a period of time.

Your carb is full of trash. you also probaly need to clean out the bottom of your fuel tank, blow out your lines and replace the fuel filter. I have 2 mowers with kohler engines and clean out the fuel tanks fuel lines and carbs 1 time a year. There is also a fuel shut solenoid on the carb this is normally problem if the engine does not run. but I am certain your problem is a simple fix, all you have to do is clean everything out in the fuel system.
