Question about HP DeskJet 1220c InkJet Printer
It can also be a piece called "separation pad", its in the back of the printer and as its name says, it separates the sheets of papers as the printer loads them. The separation pad might need to be cleaned, and in the worst case it'll need a replacement.

As far as I know this printers parts are no longer available(that depends in what region you are....ie country). I don't believe that the rear assembly is the fault. check your paper... it could be damp. this might sound strange but, the paper tends to stick together when it's damp. Fan the paper before putting it into the paper tray.
