YN 565EX wont firing

I don't think this looks like any camera. But I know you can use this on a digital camera.
If the 565EX stops after 11 flashes, it could be it is warm. It could be the overheat sensor is a little bit to quick to respond. There also could be a problem with your batteries. If they run low in a short time, they cant deliver enough power to charge the Flash.
Try new batteries and be sure you charge them correct. Using an old charger with new (high capacity) rechargable batteries, is asking for trouble, because the old chargers can't charge modern batteries to full capacity.

Useing a flash off a sony a300

Obviously, you'd need a separate flash unit, since you can't take the built-in flash off the camera. Just as obviously, you'd need a way to trigger that flash.

Some flash units have a remote sensor that will respond to the camera's flash. The a300 has a wireless mode for triggering such flashes. There are remote flash systems that include a radio transmitter that fits onto the camera's hot shoe and a receiver that the flash mounts onto. Some flash units have a jack so you can use a cord to connect the flash to the camera.

The degree of automation depends on the system. The a300's wireless mode works best with Sony's own flash units. The separate wireless and cord methods will work with just about any flash, though you'll probably have to set the exposure and flash output yourself.

I have a nikon cool pix l16/7.1megapixels/iso1600 and anti-shake AE/2.8 with LCD... and it refuse to flash.....i dont know if it is the setting that got messed up... i will really like to get this sort...

refer to p. 87 of the manual, p.99 of the pdf. I would try the reset all function and see if the flash works then. If the problem persists most likely the flash itself is defective. also make sure you have the camera on the correct mode for the flash to work.
thank you,
Lee

I'm afraid I find it difficult to understand your query - however, this camera is now ten years old, and all consumer electronics have a limited life. The cost of repair would far outweigh the cost of a replacement.

Correct code for Magnavox TV modelMMC24T5A not on code list

If code is not on list do auto search for the code.

Automatic Programming
With automatic programming, the remote control tests all the codes available
on the Code List and assigns the correct code for the selected device.
Although this method can be more time-consuming, it eliminates the need to
look up codes and enter them manually.
1. T urn off the device with which you want to use the remote control.
2. Press and hold the corresponding button on the remote control
(TV, VCR, SAT, DVD, CAB or AUD) until POWER INDICATOR illuminates. The
remote control is in programming mode.
3. Press and release . The POWER INDICATOR flashes once and stays on
indicating the unit is in Power Scan mode.
4. Press CHANNEL + or CHANNEL - repeatedly until the device turns on.
5. When the device turns on, press OK to store the code.
Note:
• To exit without storing the code, press BACK.
• The unit will search for the next code or the previous code if you press
CHANNEL + or CHANNEL - after the device turns on.
6. Press any other button. If the device responds, the remote control has been
programmed. If the device does not respond, repeat steps 2-5.
