OK, so we know that the film transport motor is not dead. That's a good thing.
When I have that problem with my HTsi or XTsi, I try several ways of placing the film leader on the take-up roller. Also be sure that the take-up roller is clean or it will not grab the film. I also have a TEST roll. I put it in cameras to be sure its grabbing film.
RARE, but it can happen...film can refuse to come out of the canister. Take it into a room tonight, turn out the light so you do not expose the film, and try pulling the film out. Use the knob to rewind it before you turn on the light.
Meantime, try another film roll
NOT likely, but possible - Film advance motor running but take-up spool not turning. This means a trip to repair shop. Since the QTsi/STsi/HTsi and XTsi are not that expensive on Ebay these days, get one as a parts donor/ spare camera. The other models will give you more choices. HTsi and XTsi have 3 AF sensors.

I'll load the film in the back and the iso will show up but says film number is on 0, whats going on

I'm assuming you're using a film camera then.
Try taking a photo just to make sure that the camera doesn't count up starting from zero (depends on your camera model).
Most likely when the film was loaded either:
1. The holes on the film were not lined up with the sprocket teeth in the camera.
or
2. The the film needed to be pulled out just a little further so that it is laid across MORE of the sprocket.

I have a 35mm nikon camera. I've changed the batteries but the film won't load. how can i load the film?

Here is what to look at: Custom Function number 8, "Auto film load when back is closed", default setting is 1 disabled on 0 it is enabled. If you have the manual for the F80 (same as N80) look on page 21 and page 72 and 73.If that is not the issue check the following: With the new batteries does the camera turn on, Can you focus, does the LCD light up? All that will let you know if you are getting power to the camera. If the answer is yes then the film should load so now check the inside of the camera back. Does it have the pressure are and roller next to the hinge. If that is missing then when you pull the film to the red dot, close the camera back there is nothing to put pressure on the film for it to load.

The zero (0) keeps flashing on my camera, it says 200 at the top which i think is the speed of the film but it wont let me take a picture. the camera is minolta 505si super DYNAX, help please!!

Hello,

This is a bit late but it might help!
The manual says this:
If the film is loaded incorrectly, 0 will blink in the frame counter and the shutter will remain locked.
Open the back cover and repeat the film loading steps.

Good luck.

Blinking 0 on my minolta maxxum 5 after I loaded the film. I cant take any pics.

It did not load your film. open the back, be sure you have the film pulled across the opening to the far side of the take-up spool, and close the back again. It should make noise as it winds the film, then number 1 should appear in the top window. If it does not make noise and advance film, you likely need the film advance motor replaced. Every time you close the back, it will try to advance film.
The motor itself can die and those plastic gears can break teeth. If repositioning the film does not work, your maxxum needs a trip to the repair shop.

I loaded the film but display window shows a flashing zero

Go ahead and try anyway. A ruined film is far cheaper than a useless camera or a professional repair. In any case, if the film hasn't loaded properly it will only be the first short length of film which is ruined. As this is a newly loaded film you haven't any risk of losing any undeveloped photos.

Auto spooling film systems are great when they work, but sometimes are a real pain and some cameras seem really picky about having a film leader of precisely the right length. See if you can engage the the film onto the spool manually.

My minolta sightseen camera wont take pictures?

The blinking zero would indicate that the film has not loaded but the cartridge is in place. The camera won't do anything when this occurs. Try opening the film door and load the roll again

Loaded film wrong??

I'm assuming you're not able to shoot pics. Its my best guess that the film just isn't getting loaded properly. Next time you attempt to load film there maybe a small red mark near the take spool (bottom edge where film goes) to indicate how far you need to pull the leader forward toward take up spool. I think the film isn't out quite far enough for the camera to do its auto load thing & when you close the back it goes thru its auto loading motions but the film just isn't getting loaded. Then close back & see what happens.

N75 will not load film

Quick solution: force a manual rewind.
1. Remove film
2. Close camera back.
3. With the power turned on, press the two rewind buttons together. They are marked in red.
4. The camera will make a rewind sound and will stop after about 2 seconds.
5. DO NOT fire the shutter yet.
6. Put the mode on Manual and select a fast shutter speed like 1/90 sec. Any aperture will do.
7. Load the film correctly as given in the user's manual.
8. As you close the camera back, the film will prewind to the end of roll. At the end of the roll pre-wind the LCD will show you the total number of frames available.
9. Select any shooting mode.
10. Go on and take pictures.

Hope this helps
