Got it, I'll get back to you in a minute, the previous instructions where for the other phone.

  • Ekse Apr 24, 2010

    1. Hold the Soft1 and Soft2 Key and Press the RESET Button at the same time

    2. Press SEND Button to confirm hardware reset

    3. Press OK Button to double confirm hardware reset

unfortunately the service documentation did not bother to mention which ones are soft 1 and soft 2 on this phone, On my phone I know which they are.

On yours, they could be the volume up and down keys, or accept / reject call buttons, or possibly menuand back button, or then to two remaining buttons home, search. or a combination of two.

    I'll look into it more.

    4. When the screen displays a warning sign, release the keys.

How can i unlock a Motorola moto g phone that I bought and I don't have the passcode to

If the phone is Verizon you are out of luck. If the. Phone has been updated to 4.4.4. You are out of luck. If the phone has not been active on the carrier for less than 6 months you also will not be able to. Otherwise, you can request directly from Motorola website after you use fastboot to obtain pre unlock code. Or you can follow methods from xda forums.

T-Mobile's myTouch 3G by HTC

The HTC myTouch 3G is highly customizable and you have been hard at work tweaking it to your liking, but now the fun is over and you want to return it to its factory settings again.

Here, we show you how to hard reset the HTC myTouch 3G with step by step instructions.

Please note that all data will be deleted from the HTC myTouch 3G as a result of this procedure. This process does NOT delete data stored on the microSD card. We recommend backing up all of your personal data before proceeding.

  1. Turn the power off. If your HTC myTouch 3G is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
  2. Press and hold the Home button and the red End button for 30 seconds
  3. Release the buttons when a warning appears on the display
  4. Press and hold the Home button and the red End button again
  5. Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
  6. Use the trackball to select Wipe data/factory reset

All data including third-party applications will be deleted from the HTC myTouch 3G. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.

This will restore you setting. You will lose anything not stored to google or your SD card. But your phone will work again.
