Question about Fuji FinePix A350 Digital Camera

FinePix A350 Power Button stays down after being starting camera

I pressed the power button on my new A350 and the button will not pop back up. I took out the batteries to turn it off - I hope that didn't mess up anything - I still can't get the power button to pop up. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help but there is a problem with the warranty.

I received my camera as a gift and the person who gave it to me did not keep the receipt. Fuji wants proof of purchase and I don't have it so I am out of luck. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or a trustworthy repair service that won't cost a fortune?

This just plain shouldn't happen. Call Fuji while your warranty is in effect, and have them fix or replace it.

Fuji a350. When I got the camera, it took many many photos(50-100) with alkaline...

Many digital cameras (eg Samsung D53, Nikon 2100) have extremely poor battery life with alkaline batteries (under 20 shots!). Sometimes they won't even take a single picture.

Try using rechargeable batteries or "oxyride" disposable batteries. They perform infinately better.

When i take a picture, press te button, the camera lens goes back into camera and shuts off, why?

Normally an indication of flat batteries. Low batteries do the same. Even bad quality batteries will do this. You should get 2 AA Lithium which will last a long time but when ready to go will die instantly.

I have a Fujufilm Finepix S5700 digital camera. Does not power up

hold power button down and remove battery at the same time once battery is out put battery into charger, if the light shows red then it needs to be charged if it shows green allow it to stay in the charger for 3 minutes then remove the battery and install in the camera pust the power button on hold for 5 seconds, if the camera comes on your ready to go, if not then you may have damaged the battery pack and will have to replace te battery. If you have a cable that plugs into the camera try using the powrord with battery plugged in, if it does not work then your battery is bad and you will have to purchase from fuji to get the right battery pack.

DSC-W150 SteadyShot says turn power on & off & lens pops in/out

I had the same problem with my Sony DSC-W150 camera. It turned out to have an easy fix. At the same time, press the power button and depress the shutter button halfway (the one you snap to take pics) as if you were trying to engage the autofocus without pressing the button down entirely. The lens will attempt to autofucus, which in my case was enough extra power to dislodge whatever debris/sand had clogged the lens. Hope this works for you!

Bissell 5770 vacuum power won't stay on. The power will only stay on if you hold down the button the whole time.

I just had this happen to me. I took the top part of the vacuum off, unscrewed all of the screws from the top piece and opened it just enough to pop off the plastic red power button. Then I pressed the switch mechanism up and down a few times to reset it and put it back together. Turns out it didn't actually go bad.

I often miss a shot because there seems to be a delay when I press the shutter button on my Fuji FinePix A350 digital camera. Is there a setting I can change to speed up the process?

It's called "shutter lag"...a common problem with all point and shoot cameras. To avoid it, press the shutter button half-way and allow the camera to lock in the focus (it will beep) before pressing the rest of the way.

    Fujifilm finepix a350

This is a common problem with this camera and it needs to be sent back to Fuji for repair.I've been through it three times and then they replaced the A350 with an A400 and now I'm having the same problems with the A400.
They want to swap it with a E500.
Both of these replacements are less of a camera then the A350.
If they won't repair it under warranty I suggest you stay away from Fuji cameras in the future,I know I will never buy one again
