Dear Fredhellcat Please go to the following link. Assuming that HP is offering a driver for the One Touch only for Win XP this is the proper link. (I have checked both Windows 2000 and 98 and there is no such driver) In there you will find the HP Pavilion ZT1000 - Windows XP One-Touch, Presentation Ready, and HP Display Settings driver and applications – 6.28mb Regards

The dealer has to program the keys.. or program the car to the keys rather. Dont really understand why they tell you you need the original ones for because you dont. God to another Daihatsu dealer.

There are certain keys on the left side of my laptop that will not work?

If you have had to re-establish the operating system in your Compaq, you've probably lost the programs for the special keys that are often present on laptops. The special driver programs should be available for free download on Compaq/HP's website. Installing the drivers may require reinstalling the OS, also.
If you're talking about regular typing keys that are bad, you probably need a new keyboard. Search the Web and eBay for your exact model and "keyboard."

I got the new key made but i need to program it to my 2002 ford escape

your not going to be able to program yourself unless you have two original keys. If you have two keys put the first one in and turn to run for 3 secs. put the second one in for the same time and then put the one you need programmed in for the same amount of time. it should now be programmed. If you dont have two keys that already start the car you will need to visit the dealership or a locksmith that programs pats keys.

Symbols gone crazy

The keyboard appears to be defective, but if you replace it and you still have issues, then the matrixing chip on the motherboard is bad and you will have to change the motherboard as well. Let me know, and vote.

No keys on my keyboard work. Cause: This issue is often caused by either a bad keyboard, bad interface board, and/or bad motherboard.
Answer: Disconnect the keyboard from the computer and connect another known working keyboard to it. If this is a PS/2 keyboard and connecting multiple keyboards or a known working keyboard to the computer PS/2 port does not work unfortunately it's likely that the PS/2 port is bad. Because this port is part of the motherboard this will require that you replace the motherboard. Alternatively if replacing the motherboard is too costly or not an effective solution you could also consider using a USB keyboard if USB ports are available on the computer.

Not all keys on keyboard work.

Reference number: CH000305
Not all keys on keyboard work. Issue: Not all keys on keyboard work.
Cause: This issue is often caused by a bad keyboard or software preventing these keys to be pressed.
Additional information: This document contains information about troubleshooting a keyboard that has some functioning keys. If no key on the keyboard is working see document CH000955.
Solution: Verify that the key is not working in more than one application. It is possible that some keys may not be used in all programs. This generally always applies to the Function keys F1 through F12. If not all keys are working in all programs and you have Windows, attempt to boot the computer to a MS-DOS prompt or safe mode and test the keyboard in DOS. Information about getting into safe mode can be found on document CHSFAFE and information on how to boot to DOS can be found on document CHDOS. If it appears that a substance has been spilt into the computer, please review document CH000303. If all above suggestions have been completed or if you are not running Windows, it is likely that the keyboard and/or keys are bad and it is recommended that the keyboard be replaced with a new one.
