The easiest way is to connect to your PC. Make sure that your mass storage mode is on. Then you can navigate through my computer and drop into your music folder. This is all dependent on whether or not you have a memory card installed.

I have an old bb storm unlocked from Vodafone and im having trouble viewing videos i have recorded from the phone

You need to upgrade your blackberry software, since even your blackberry unlocked that software configuration still using default setting from your old network provider. Some phones have other problem after unlocked like browser stuck, death microphone etc. In this case your blackberry curve 8330 unlock code for verizon is working but you need some a little job to fix up your software. Like i said before that is a general trouble that may happened when we put blackberry unlock code at the wrong sequence.

Blackberry curve from sprint

I am going to guess that since you can copy some types of media files to your phone then the problem is the format of the video files you want to copy. The phone's media playing application may not show files it cannot recognize.(or show an error message).

If you want to watch videos (or movies) on any type of smart phone or mobile player then I suggest you download a free application called Format Factory. It converts any type of media file to any other type of media file (video, music, pictures, DVDs). It has settings for Blackberry phones, iPods, PsP, etc. Go to: http://www.formatoz.com/ and check it out.

Trouble scrolling for a blackberry

this is not a problem, my phone does the same thing. it is simply taking you to the last "read" file of the program. however if you click the bb button and "close" the program when you are finished it should file from top down! if you are having trouble with the scrolling feature you have one of two options, either replace the trackball which is only $10.00 US or you can disassemble the trackball and clean the gliders that touch the ball itself!

Can't download music from my PC to the Blackberry Curve

Go to the options, then click media card, scroll to Auto Enable Mass Storage and set to prompt. Unplug your BB from USB and plug it back in. It will prompt you with a message "Do you want to turn on Mass Storage Mode? Click yes. Don't click Don't ask this question again. I actually came here to find the solution, then i figured it out. Your "Disk Drive" added will then say Blackberry.

Blackberry curve ringtones

You cannot save a ringtone, picture, or music to a SIM card. Those files get saved to the "hard drive" of the phone. In order to get music into your phone to use as a ringtone, you must either

1. Download through one of those pay for services like Jamster or through t-zones or the like.

2. Use a data connection plan to download from the "mobile net". Sites are free that let you upload your music to an address that you can go to on your mobile web and download to your phone. The phone usually knows where to download the ringtone to on its own. T-mobile's t-zones costs $5.99 a month for the mobile web.

3. Use a USB connector and the media managing software for the phone to transfer the file to your phone. The Motorola RZR uses a software called Motorola Phone Tools to do this. The Blackberry also has its own Blackberry User Tools Software. Usually, the software shows you the "folders" on the phone and one will be called "tones". You put it there and it comes up in your list of ringtones.
