When i go to log in on my pc a notice comes up saying i need to reinstall framedyn.dll but dont know how

  1. Open your default Web browser. Search the Internet for a download location for a working version of framedyn.dll, or just follow the link in the Resources section below to download it from a reliable location.
  2. Click the download link and follow the prompts that appear onscreen to save the file to your hard drive. When the file finishes downloading, double-click it to open it in your computer's default program for compressed files. Click the "Extract" or "Unzip" button in this program, and select your desktop as the destination for the file when prompted. This will extract framedyn.dll to your desktop.
  3. 3 Double-click the "My Computer" icon and browse to the Windows system folder. The exact location of this folder varies among the different versions of Windows. In the original 32-bit versions of Windows XP and Vista, the system folder is located at "C:\Windows\System32." If you're using the 64-bit versions of Windows XP or Vista, navigate to "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" instead. If you're using Windows NT or Windows 2000, look for "C:\WINNT\System32." In the oldest Windows operating systems that use this file, including Windows ME, 95 and 98, the system folder is located at "C:\Windows\System."
  4. Left-click and hold the framedyn.dll file on your desktop and drag it into the system folder. Release the mouse button. If the original framedyn.dll file was missing, you won't see any Windows prompts. If it is present but corrupted, you will see a Windows prompt asking you if you would like to replace the existing file. If this happens, click "Yes."
  5. Reboot your computer.

Hi as soon as i click copy project on PT Publisher it says disc loaded but at same time a box pops up saying unhandled exception and then the whole program closes down.

Please use these instructions below to completely remove the program.
1. Go Start - Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs. Find PTPublisher and click Remove.

2. Go to C:\Program Files\Primera Technology. Delete the "PTPublisher" folder

3. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\PTI. Delete the "PTPublisher" folder. (The "Application Data" folder may be a hidden folder)

Do not delete the "Drivers" folder from PTI.
Note: This folder contains your log file and personal settings such as default print quality, burn speeds, and default file locations. Hi,

Go to the Printer Properties, Printing Preferences, or Document Defaults are Displayed in an Unexpected Language so trie changing the language from there if not then there are two ways to correct this problem. The first is to download the printer driver from the HP Web site and install it. The second involves replacing the .DLL file the printer driver uses to obtain the text that is displayed on the screen.

Error Code: 2753 " Fatal Error or error MSI.dot4msi"

CAUSE:
Certain HP services (and associated DLL files) were somehow partially/improperly installed. (Possibly, from a previous failed install?)
The Windows services (files) were:
Pml Driver HPZ12 (C:\Windows\System32\HPZipm12.dll)
Net Driver HPZ12 (C:\Windows\System32\HPZinw12.dll)
The existence of these 2 files in the System32 directory was causing this error in my situation. Somehow, the installation script was not identifying that these files were already installed (or improperly installed) and failing to properly set them to be installed again.
SOLUTION:
Steps:
1) Check to make sure that the 2 Windows services above are not running (or not installed).
2) Rename/delete the 2 associated service DLL files (this will only be possible once the services are stopped)
3) Run the installation again.

Problem w/ WIN2000 Pro & XP Pro

HERE IS THE SOLUTION :
click on the link given below and find oc25.dll....if you are unable to find press keyboard key cntrl + f .A dialog box will appear now type oc25.dll and hit find key and you will find the oc25.dll .click on that file to download it to your computer.

http://www.dlldump.com/dll-files/O_2.html

Once you have downloaded the file you are looking for you still need to make sure Windows or the program causing the error can find it. Follow these steps:

1. If you are encountering an error with Windows...
The file you downloaded needs to be placed into the Windows System directory. On most machines this is one of the following locations:
C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me),
C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000), or
C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP).

If you are encountering an error with a particular program...
The file most likely needs to be in this program's directory. This directory is where the program is installed (i.e. c:\Program Files\ThisProgram).

If this step solves the problem, you do not need to complete step 2.

2. You may to register this file with Windows. Click on the Start Menu and then on 'Run'. If you are replacing a Windows system file, type the following command:
regsvr32 \windows\system\file.dll (Windows 95/98/ME),
regsvr32 \WINNT\system32\file.dll (Windows NT/2000), or
regsvr32 \windows\system32\file.dll (Windows XP).

For example, 'regsvr32 \windows\system\apphelp.dll'

If you are replacing a file for another program, change the directory where appropriate. For example, 'regsvr32 \program files\Norton\xyz.dll'

If the file is registered correctly, you will receive a positive confirmation message.

Install Failed - GetDatFilename() Returned False HP Laserjet 3055

Error 1603 Apparently Win XP, Me and 2000 have a security function that doesn't let you overwrite existing twain and/or twunk files.

So you have to install these files manually:
Search on the installation CD or in the unzipped downloaded full solution the folder setup\scan, there you'll find the file data1.cab.

Doubleclick it and extract the following files to a temporary folder:
F1922_TWUNK_16.EXE.096CD9AA_35CA_455C_ADCB_36EF6B7F7892
F1923_TWUNK_32.EXE.096CD9AA_35CA_455C_ADCB_36EF6B7F7892
F1928_TWAIN.DLL.096CD9AA_35CA_455C_ADCB_36EF6B7F7892. F1939_TWAIN_32.DLL.096CD9AA_35CA_455C_ADCB_36EF6B7F7892.
Rename these files to twunk_16.exe, twunk_32.exe, twain.dll and twain_32.dll respectively
Copy (and overwrite if necessary) them to the Windows directory (c:\winnt in my case)

Now you can re-install the complete HP software again, in my case it worked and I'm now able to fully use my CM1015 multi-function printer!

Fatal error installing HP 3055 all in one

OK, here is my debugged/tested solution.

I know your error refers to a different installer MSI file (CIOUM32.msi) but the installation component in your log file (ipm12.A4B24390_80AD_4BAF_B8FD_C670FE0DB586) is identical to the one that was giving me trouble as well (i.e. points to the same service/file). So it is definitely worth a shot to try this solution out as it will only take a few minutes.

My Scenario:

OS: MS Windows XP SP3 [Version 5.1.2600]
Printer: HP LaserJet 3390 (AiO) (Firmware datecode: 20070331)
Printer Connection: Connected via Ethernet with a static IP address
HP Driver Version: v4.0 (hp_LJ3050-3052-3055-3390-3392_Full_Solution_AMWE.exe)

Ran into same error that everyone else is experiencing. (see below)

Now Launching=X:\hpzmsi01.exe -m dot4msi -l XXX -f X:\DIVins??.DAT
Error message received: The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2753.
X:\HPZBDI32.msi failed with return code 1603
MSIInstall() failed with 1603
Exit code=1603

After debugging HP's installation scripts for 2 days, here is the cause & solution I identified to this specific install error. Once I got passed this error, everything installed without error and all functionality was working properly (including scanning!).

BACKGROUND:

Microsoft Installer (MSI) error 1603 is simply a generic "A fatal error occurred during installation" -- see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa368542(VS.85).aspx. This is basically MSI telling you that something very bad has happened during the installation. In order to get more details, you can turn on MSI debug logging by following this MS Knowledge Base article (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/223300).

The MSI error code 2753 is the code for "The File '<file name>' is not marked for installation.". This error can be triggered by many scenarios, but usually, it has to do with the actual installation script not properly checking for the existence/non-existence of an installation file and then not marking it for either installation/removal. I know this sounds confusing, and it is. If your curious about all the possible causes, just Google for "msi 2753 not marked for installation" and you'll see lots of results which you can peruse for your own enjoyment.

In order to identify what was causing these 2 errors, I enabled debugging for MSI via the aforementioned MS KB article

If all goes well, the install should now run without any issues.

Hope this helps since many people (including myself) have spent a lot of time (and HP Support chats) trying to find a workaround for this issue.

If you find this solution helped you out, please feel free to make a small donation to my PayPal ;)
