If yours is like mine ... replace the hose. Get the hose at your Echo dealer or at any auto parts store.

Priming echo BP251 liaf blower

Hi Norman:
I'd check the routing of the fuel lines.
Tank to carb (this is the line with the filter on it)
carb to bulb (suction side)
bulb to tank (return line)
If the connections appear correct but it does not pull gas, check the filter to make sure it is clean, and you can try reversing the connections on the bulb.
Hope this helps.

No fuel in primer bulb on my echo PB 2100 blower

The primer bulb pulls fuel from the carb into the bulb and dumps back to the tank, so either the tubes are not connected too the correct conections on the carb, or there is bno fuel getting to the carb from the tank ( fuel filter ) or if the primer is on the carb itself there in a red one way valve under the bulb which maybe faulty.

Echo shred n vac starts, idles, runs to about half power then bogs

Check the grommet that sits on top of tank where lines from go carb. Grommet may be rotten and crack. Try that. Have you ever replace the carb repair kit? The diaphram may be torn, defoam or have holes in them. Carb kit cost arount $10, but don't mess with the welch plug or screen in carb.

It idles but when I try to give it gas it dies

The most common cause of this is a damages fuel line. Look for pinholes or small cracks. The filter inside the tank may also be clogged.

Update this with what you find.

Seal crack

Just buy the new seal and run the gas line through it and reinstall it into the tank.

Gas is leaking from the leaf blower.

Unless the tank has been cracked, it has to be one of the following: Broken lines, split primer bulb, unsealed fuel cap, bowl gasket of carb. I would start with the lines and bulb since they are the ones usually at fault..Good luck...Lee

Echo backpack blower stops after 20 minutes

Make sure the fuel tank cap inlet valve is working properly, this will allow a vapor lock if it is not. Then check the fuel line in tank to make sure the pickup filter is not hung up in tank thereby allowing the fuel to get below the pickup. Also check the fuel line for holes. You can also try toro.com customer care, manuals and parts, type in model no. then get owners manual and see if in troubleshooting section it list this problem.

Echo polesaw won't pick up gas, took carb apart still no run.

Vacuum test the fuel line and check the fuel filter.
The fuel line could be cracked.
