I have a washer dryer combo DWC LD1013 it stoped drying. My clothes are more wet when put in to dry. The clothes would be extremely hot but all wet. It works 1 cycle and then stops. Please help ????

In order to dry cloths, you need two things, heat source and air flow. Sounds like you have heat but no air flow. If you can, pull unit out and check vent for washer. Look around unit and make sure there is nothing blocking any vents. If you don't see any thing, try drying with vent not installed. I run into a lot of homes with clogged vents inside walls. By drying with no vent installed, it might tell you if you have dryer problem or a home issue. Good Luck

Not heating

If you can hear the dryer start and operate but at end of cycle your clothes are wet then it is likely (assuming the heater is turning on) that the fluff collection on the condensor unit is blocking its operation.
Refer manual at this site and follow instructions on page 20.

The heat is there but it doesnt dry the clothes

You have one of 2 problems. Your clothes are getting put into the machine too wet because the washer isn't spinning them out all the way. Or you have a clogged vent causing the unit to take too long to dry properly because it can't remove the moisture properly. Check your vent outside to see how hard the dryer is blowing the air.

Kenmore 110.66902690 electric dryer does not dry completely

Dear Barry,
Try 2 things.
One, be certain the clothes are very dry coming out of the washing machine.
If the washer leaves the clothes wet ( like the belt might be slipping), it can take the dryer forever to finish drying the clothes.
You can tell by hand-wringing them.
You should not be able to get any water out of them by hand-wringing after they have spun dry in the washer.
Two, try running a load with the vent hose unhooked off the back of the dryer.
If this fixes the problem, you are having a "clogged vent" issue somehow.
Be blessed.

I have a Whirlpool LGN2000PW gas dryer. The dryer will heat up when it is first started and get warm, but after a few minutes it cools right back down. We removed all the duct work in the basement leading...

if it still quits heating after a minute or so then its either a weak cycling thermostat or moisture sensor thermistor, both located on the blower housing, or the moisture sensor bars located near the door opening on the dryer,or it could be a high limit thermostat thats bad on the burner tube itself

Clothes aren't dry

Heating and not drying can be caused by 3 different things. I will address all three most common first

- Restricted air flow, usually a blocked vent. If the moisture from the laundry cannot get outside and fresh air in the dryer you will take extra long to dry. Be sure there is ventilation into the laundry room and more important make sure the vent is not kinked behind the dryer and that it is clean and allowing good air flow. You can go outside to where the vent terminates and feel the flow while it is running to check.

- Sensor has build up on it. Look in the dryer drum, inside on the back wall, inside on the front wall, somewhere depending on your model you will two strips of metal about the size of a pencil. Clean those with a little alcohol. Those are what sense the wetness of the clothes and control the cycle. If they get a build up residue on them they do not sense properly.

- The load is mixed, meaning you have some articles that absorb moisture like towels and some light garments that dry fast, the fast drying articles can fool the dryer into thinking the entire load is dry when the heavy articles are not.

My daughter in put a load of wet clothes (not completely finished spin cycle). Now dryer doesn't heat the clothes but seems to have all other functions.

Try running the dryer empty to see if the elements are heating. With the weight of wet clothes it is possible to trip the overloads.

Dryer not heating leaving the clothes wet

First, you need to be sure if really the dryer is not heating. Sometimes the vent is clogged and doesn't dry the clothes regardless the drying is heating.

Be sure the exhaust pipe is not clogged and try to operate the dryer again.

How does may tag intelli dry work? what is the difference between less and more heat setting

there is a sensor inside the door to the right it actually "feels" the dampness of the clothes across the two strips on the sensor, if you close a wet washcloth in the door so that it hits the sensor you will see that it will show as wet and it will run longer.
if nothing in the load hits the sensor the sensor will call it dry and the load will finish, larger loads work better with sensor dry small loads not so much. if there is alot of trouble try using the timed dry cycle.

Does not heat

"Steam drying will get how but the air that comes later to actually dry is cold so the clothes never dry"

I am assuming "how" means hot in this sentence, if so, I think I can help! There is no "steam drying" phase for your dryer so what is probably happening is; the wet clothes are being heated properly [as a result causing steam] however if this steam does not escape frum the dryer it will simply condense back onto the clothing [leaving them moist/wet].
Check your flexible tube from the dryer and the vent on the outside of your home to make sure they are unobstructed. Hope this helps!
