Hi,

In Belkin routers the wireless light will be turned on Green only if you have any wireless devices is connected to the network so I belive You do not have any wireless computer connected to the routers network.

Please folloew these steps to connect to the nework,

1. Connect your laptop and the router using an ethernet cable in any one of the LAN slot

2. Open up Internet explorer and clear the address bar and type http://192.168.2.1 and hit enter.

3.You will be logged into the Belkin router setup page

4.In the left hand side under the heading wireless click on channel and ssid .

5. When its asking for password to login, leave it blank and click on submit

6. Then change the current SSID name to something else you wish and channel to 11 and click on apply changes.

7.In the left hand side under wireless click on security and then change the security mode to 64 bit WEP and when its asking for key , type a 10 digit number (only numbers) and then apply changes.

8. Then under wireless , click on Wifi protected setup and change Wifi protected setup to disabled and apply changes.

Then you can scan and connect to the wireless network in you laptop then you will be online.
