Question about KitchenAid Architect® KEMS308S Electric Oven
The oven door on one side has come off the hinge leg. I was pulling the unit out to check the electrical connection and used the oven door to pull the unit out enough to gain access to the box, I must have pulled unevenly as one side of the door pulled out of its slot and I can't figure out how to get it back in again. help please.
There are two versions of this hinge depending on the rest of your model will tell which you have.
Which ever one you have you will have to grasp the hinge and 'open' it, you may be able to do this by opening the door with the hinge partially in the slot it goes. Then either rotate the latch for hinge 1 or insert a pin for hinge 2 into the hole. You can use a short screw in place of the pin, just do not use one too long that comes in contact with the door liner.
Once the hinge is pinned it should be stable enough to lift the front of the door while putting into place.
If you need more instruction let me know.

The second is the older style

there will be two hinge latches that you flip to stop the door from closing. This will allow you to push the door in and then pull out the bottom. I do not suggenst using the handle as it may cause damage. use one hand on either side of the door, push the door shut and then lift up a bit and pull the hinges out of the holes.
