Question about HP Photosmart 8250 InkJet Printer
You should be able to clear the error yourself. The 'ink system failure' error is caused by air in the ink feed tubes, this happens if you let the ink in a cartridge run all the way out or if you use poorly filled refill cartridges that have air bubbles. You will need to purge the ink feed tubes to clear the error. We have an article posted on our web site at http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/category/printer-repair/hp-printer-repair/ that will walk you thru the procedure to perform the purge on the ink tubes. It takes about 10 minutes to do.
I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.
