Question about StarTech.com StarView SV431USB 4-port KVM Switch

I have two digivox-t and one is working fine the other cant seem to find the channels . what do I need to do. thanks

    there both off the same aerial and if you turn off the power to the one down stairs ( this is the one not working)the other one does not work but once you turn back on the power the one up stairs works. When I do a search for channels it comes back 90% found but then when I go into the channels theres nothing found .

    thanks for replying but not sure what you mean by power up supply. it just like the channels are not coming through , Its just coming up data is being up dated and the only channel i have got it rte 1 .

    Hey, the box that is not working is the one attached to the main power of supply so if I turn the power off both boxes don't work. When I turn the power back on the box upstairs works but the main box does not. The only station I have is RTE. Both boxes have the same codes.

    you must make sure that the main box is the one that has the power up supply on it to power up the second or feed box

    hi erus if it is saying update and the only channel you have is rte1 then you need to upgrade the box are you sure the emu is turned on when i refer to the power up box its a small box that has aerial in tv out with two f fittings on it /the screw in type/

    even though you have the same codes it does not say it will work the one that is working has firmware on it thats why its working and the one that is not working has no firmware on it thats why it keeps upgrading to 160% or whatever then flicking off and doing it again it will just keep trying to upgrade because of no firmware

your digivox t does need codes as all the premium channels are been lost lately unfortunatly i dont have the newest codes or firmware sorry for now

Digivox t keeps rebooting every couple of mins. Whats the problem . Channels all work fine when its on but constantly going of and coming back. Looks like it freezing just before this happens. Also have...


i think that the problem may be that you are constantly putting in codes and have not downloaded the latest firmware on it this sometimes happens /as for your other box sorry it could be a 100 things

THANK YOU FOR YOUR E/MAIL JUST WANT TO SAY THE DIGIVOX IS STILL NOT WORKING I CAN GET AROUND 100 STATIONS ALL TO GETHER BUT ALL THE SKY AND SETANTA STATIONS ARE NOW BLOCKED THEY MUST HAVE CHANGED THE CODES IT WENT OFF BEFORE BUT WE WERE ABLE TO GET THE NEW CODES FROM THE INTERNET SOME PERSON SENT THEM IN I HOPE THERE MIGHT BE SOME ONE OUT THERE WHO MIGHT HAVE THE NEW CODES ????? If you box is on MMDS/Teresterial:

You should download the firmware "digivox_ter_v3300.bin" and put this on your box using downloaded10.exe (This will automatically fix your problem)

(You should be able to find the file by using Google.)

1. Connect to Internet.
2. Search for the files named above
3. Save / Download the files
4. Get the cable to connect your box to the PC.
5. Connect PC to Digivox via the serial port using an RS232
cable.
6. Turn on Digivox & then turn on PC.
7. Open loader software “DOWNLOADER 10”
8. Check settings and parameters. Defaults are usually correct.
9. Browse for bin file (digivox_ter_v3300.bin )
For all files and the downloader 10 click this link http://eko.4shared.com/ and hit digivox

and select.
10. Check “app file” (default).
11. Click “download”
12. A progress bar will appear. Wait for “download complete “ window to pop-up
13. Turn off Digivox and PC then disconnect.

Enabling Key Emulator

1. Connect Digivox to TV (usually scart), cable feed and power on.
2. Perform full auto-scan.
3. Go to “main menu”
4. Scroll down to “System Information”, press “OK” to enter System Information menu.
5. On your remote control press “ 1 0 0 4 ” (ignore what happens on the screen)
6. “Key Emu” will now be visible on the screen.
7. Change “Key Emu” to ON
8. Exit menus and return to TV mode.
9. Go to a scrambled / encrypted channel and wait for update process to complete.
10. Scrambled channels should now be unlocked.

Problems with no sound
To get back sound on e4 sky1 ect just select the channel in question press menu, select installation, select manual scan, click ok on down frequency. It'll now scan for channels when its finished exit back to normal tv viewing screen go to the end of your channel listing and the desired channel will be there with sound. This can be done on any channel with no sound by just selecting that channel following the instructions above

My digivox is scrambling all my channels. Was working fine for about 6 months, then all of a sudden all channels gone. tried entering 0000 again. But nothing!!!! Can anyone help


are ur fta channels still working if they are then ur cable co. has changed codes you'll need to put new codes in or download new software to fix this problem hope that helps.
