Question about Estate TEDS740JQ Electric Dryer
My dryer will not come on period and The connection is good. where do I find the thermal fuse in the Estate TEDX640JQ Electric Dryer?
The thermal fuse is located behind the back panel just to the left of the exhaust opening (looking from the back), it is white in color and has 2 wires (usually blue) going to it.
If you dryer comes on sometimes I would suspect this is not the problem.
The symptoms you describe most often are a loose wire or a bad motor.

Item #2986 (OEM Part)
Thermal fuse. If the dryer overheats, this device stops the flow of electricity to the heat source and/or the entire dryer. It is located on the blower housing and cannot be reset. The most common cause for overheating is a vent tube clogged with lint, a birds nest or other debris.
