F-08 indicated.

Indesit or Hotpoint washing machine flashing 8 times or displaying error code F08 usually indicate "Heater relay can't be activated" or "heater relay stuck".
The heater relay on these machines (as at time of writing) is on the pcb, the main control board at the back of the machine. Sometimes they can get jammed, and freed with a gentle tap. Other causes of this fault listed are "check pressure switch, heater & module connections". Therefore this isn't an easy diy fix and if you don't know what a relay is or looks like it's best to get in an engineer for this fault.

Some descriptions on various models also still say "heater relay", or "heater relay can't be activated", or "heater relay stuck", but also add, "check pressure switch connections for heater, wiring and module connections".

First all all unplug it for 2 mins to clear error code. That error relates to heater or pcb fault. Check the wires on the heater then pcb make sure they are tight. Give the relays a tap on the pcb it could be stuck. Pcb is module / circuit board etc. Found at the back in the corner with a White cover over it. Remove rear cover to see. Relays are on the pcb.

Why is the Washing machine door does not open?

The door latch is normally locked by a relay whilst the washing machine is operating to avoid accidental door opening and flooding. Once the wash is complete a timer operates and releases the door latch relay to allow door opening. The relay must have stuck. Try to turn off the mains power supply to washer and if you hear a click then relay has released and the door should open. But if no difference then the relay or latch is jammed and you will have to use a mild force with a blunt screw driver to force open the door. If this is hard then take the washing machine cover top cover out and access the switch from side. Make sure the mains power cable is taken out.

You did not specify model!

F08 - Heater relay cannot be activated
  • Check wiring
  • Check pressure switch and connections
  • Tap relays as they can jam on new boards

Washer stays in wash cycle will not spin out i changed control board no help

Isyour washing machine displaying an error code? If so, try using the owner's manual to decipher the code and you may beable to easily diagnose the problem. The problem could be as simple as the doorbeing slightly ajar, the machine is in pause mode, or the spin selector isstuck. Checkthe handy chart in the article Washingmachine won't advance to washer spin cycle for more possible reasons why your washingmachine won't advance to washer spin cycle-and some tricks for getting itworking again.

It flashes f o7 on my wie 127

hi sir, It seems that a common error code on Indesit washing machines is error code 7. This code can show itself as F 007 or with washing machines that have a rotating control dial the door lock light can flash in cycles of seven times.
This error code usually means, “heater relay stuck”.
The heater is switched on via a relay built into the main PCB. This relay is known to get jammed causing error code 7. In my experience this has usually meant a new PCB needed fitting and as the PCB comes without the main processor EEPROM chip one of those is needed also.
This repair is going to be expensive. I have heard anecdotally of engineers freeing off the jammed relay by giving it a firm tap. However, I would not expect such a repair to last as the chances are the relay would just get stuck again later on.
If a washing machine is still under the five-year parts warranty it would be cheaper to let the manufacture fit these parts but although the parts would be free the labour is going to be about £90.

kindly rate me..
thanks for using fixya..
