I've a contract with 3mobile,who provided me with the K800i.
I've had the help of someone rather experienced/expert, we've tried various ways to install
PC suite/ PC, but so far to no avail. We keep getting the information;
- Mobile not connected - which can not be case simply because it is connected!! We have therefore tried different cables; systems such as: Adobe - Quick Time BUT STILL TO NO AVAIL!?!? So by now we've spent a lot of (wasted) time ..................... unfortunately without results........................ what do you suggest as a solution ....................... by the way, I use Windows 2000 program with SP3/SP4
Hiya .. It is not the suite at fault..... make sure that you have installed the necessary usb data cable/ drivers which come with the drivers on the disc normally... and nothing else. The drivers effectively make the computer recognise the phone... is connected.. nothing more.. once you have done this you should not have any problems with using a software suite.
With Your O.S. you will need a usb data disc1.1 or similar, I had excatly the same problem when the phone was first produced, I got rid because I could not get used to the "joystick" button.

Thanks for your response, but it turned out to be a FAULTY Sony Ericsson DISC;
How do we know???? ; We finally had this clear idea to check the previous set up with Motorola and hey ............. ten minutes later that was installed ......................, I guess miracles still happen in this ....... IT phenomenon?!?!?
Oh by the way ......................... 3 my mob/cell phone company will issue me with a new disc, which I can expect within 48hrs.!!!???
