You may have a bad small signal board. [SSB] This will have to be replaced. You will have to find a TV tech to do this for you! The board I am refering to is the one that houses the Cable connections. Generally the RF connectors that go to the cable box or satellite box etc. [white, red, yellow or green, blue, and red rca jacks]. If this TV is in warranty please hurry and call the 1 800 number to schedule a fix. I hope this will give you an insight to your problem! Thanks for asking.

Hi Kylie,
Where abouts are you in the world. You mention 7 and 10,sounds like you are in Australia. Just what channels you can get depends on your area, the antenna you have, its signal worthiness. If you are using the auto tuning feature of the set, and missing some channels in the process, worth checking first

  • that the lead from the wall aerial socket and the set is not faulty. Swap in another one if you can lend a good working one from someone,. Or pick one up from most any hardware, or electronics hobby or retail store.
If replacing the lead doesn't fix the problem,
  • Do a visual check of the aerial on the roof. If it is bent, missing elements, or pointing the wrong direction, this will reduce the signal you can get to provide for good reception for all channels.
Let me know where you are, and I can tell you exactly what channels you should be able to get. Happy to answer any questions that you may have regards robotek

No worries Kylie, I am in Brissy.... let me know what town are you in, and I can check to see what channels you should be getting there. Some places have channels in the UHF frequencies, that you aerial may not be good for. Some towns don't have digital yet as well.
Did you get to trying a new lead, or taking a look at the aerial outside yet?

    regards

You will be looking to Mount Dandenong for signal, and yes, if you have the correct aerial should be able to get all channels, including digital so long as your television has a digital tuner. If you are unable to check the aerial, try a new lead from the wall to the set, if that does not help, you may require the service of an antenna repair guy. If you are renting... the landlord will look after it for you.

    • If you need someone to help, these guys service the peninsulas.

    Hi Kylie,

The other expert has been paid for the advice given. Is this what you intended? If not, and you intended me to be paid for the advice given (as you indicated), then perhaps you could send a quick email note note to premium.support@fixya.com and ask them to remedy this. I would really appreciate.

How do you turn up the volume on hisense ledn32d33 without a remote

See if the set has volume controls on it. Some sets have a power switch and volume/channel controls on them.

I have a new 50 inch 4k hisense tv that makes a buzzing static sound all the time. I tried adjusting sound settings but not having any luck.

If it is new I would definitely insist on having the matter investigated and repaired under warranty. It should not be doing that!

Rca model f36649 s-video hookup to laptop computer When I hookup s--video cable to tv & HP Pavillion dv9000. I get nothing on tv? I have tried putting tv on channel 3.

Depending on how many hook ups you have on your tv it may have a factory designated channel. Example: Video 1, Game, etc. I know my TV has several different video channels. It's more a matter of trial and error until you find the vidoe channel for your oulet. Input channels are usually found before channel 1. Or look on your remote and see if it has a button to switch the channel to your input channel. Good Luck.

My Hisense lcd is lock.

This is how I got mine to work after weeks of struggling just trying to find a new remote (hisense is really hard to contact....).
1) Turn the TV ON. unplug the tv while still ON 2) hold down the "menu" button on the side of the TV and plug it back in. keep holding it down. the TV should turn on with the menu popping up. use the Vol <> keys and Channel <> keys to navigate the menu. go to the Vchip menu, and play around. I'm not sure what ultimately worked, but i changed the Vchip password to 1111, turned the reset menu to "on" and played around with the ratings settings (turning most of them to "u"s etc).
I went through this process several times and finally, the black background behind the menu turned to static. I played around with the channels, and the TV was unlocked. I turned the TV off, and then on again, and the channels showed up normally (no static). and it was no longer locked. I had to do the unplug thing several times, and was getting really frustrated looking for an "unlock code" in the manual (it just says press the button on the remote. so it was not really helpful).
But really, once you can just get to that menu you've made some progress, and just keep playing around with it until something works.
Best of luck!!

ok i am typeing this right out of the book/
operating your tv: Once you have connected your tv to an anntenna or cable system, plugged the tv in, and put batteries in the remote, you are ready to use the tv. the first thing you should do is program your tv so it memorizes all of available analog& didgital channels.PROGRAMING YOUR TVS CHANNEL MEMORY: your tvs memory determines the channels thet are available using the "up ch down" buttons. if a channel is not in memory . you can tune to it with the numbeer buttons, but not with the up and down buttons . follow these steps to program your tvs memory:
1) Preset
press the MENU button twice to enter preset menu

To memorize all available analog and didgital channels
press the ch down button to highlight FULL SCAN then press VOL.+ to begin channel scaning, the channel scanning starting with analog channels then to didgital channels. after your tv finishes memorizing the channels, it will return to normal tv viewing. I hope that this fixes your problem thats just the main section on the programing part so if you need further info just ask!
