How do I make it so I don't have to unlock the phone every time

The automatic lock feature of your phone is turned on.
To turn it off, from 'menu',
go to 'settings',
then scroll to 'phone settings',
scroll to 'keyguard',
scroll to 'automatic lock',
select it, you would see two options; 'on' and 'off' select 'off'.

This would turn off the automatic lock. You would then only be able to unlock your phone whenever you so wish.

Hope that was helpful?
Success.

Hello, you have two options to do the locking of your keypad,

2.automatic lock

The manual lock can be done immediately after you through with usage of the phone.PRESS MENU KEY THEN THE STAR KEYPAD IMMEDIATELY.that will lock the phone manually.
The automatic lock can be done by visiting the steps below,
MENU>SETTINGS>PHONE SETTING>SECURITY KEYGUARD/KEYGUARD SETTINGS.THIS WILL FIX THE AUTO LOCK.

How do I lock the keypad?

You can manually lock the keypad to avoid pressing keys by accident. You can still answer an incoming call and the keypad will lock again when the call is finished. The keypad remains locked until you unlock it manually.
Depending on your phone model, you can activate the automatic keylock. When the automatic keylock is activated, the keypad locks shortly after you stop pressing keys.
Please note: with some phones you can still use external keys when the keypad is locked. If you wish to lock the external keys you must lock them separately.

  3. Select Automatic keylock > On.
