This (F21 or FF22) error occurs if the touch-pad/LED assembly is not able to transmit/receive data to/from the central control unit (CCU).
1. Check the touch-pad/LED assembly by selecting different cycles and changing the modifiers and options available to confirm the touch-pad/LED is responding. 2. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 3. Check wire harness connections to the touch-pad/LED assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU).

HiSense F22. I forgot my parent access code, my daughter's phone is locked.
Are you sure you aren't the daughter trying to get around the code?

The onus is on your daughter to remember her access code. Your parental code allows you to make restrictions to the phone.

The only way to fix it is by doing a Factory Reset. Scrub it clean and start again.

Whirlpool Duet Washer F22 Error Code Follow-up
1) F22 mean DOOR LOCK ERROR , this problem can be a) switch for open or defective b) loose wires or broken wires, test by continuity VOM .
2) adjust the Door vs switch very well for propely closed, and test the closed switch.
3) see if the color are missing and put in the WRON terminal.

DRYER DISPLAYS CODE F22. What does this mean?
"F22" is a door lock issue Press the "Stop" button twice to cancel the cycle if "F22" shows. Check that the washer door is firmly shut--open it and shut it and try again. Make sure there aren't items blocking the closing of the door. Don't overload the basket. Try the cycle again.

Error code f22 whirlpool duet wash cycle
f22 is a door lock error try this hit cancel turn your dial to another setting, hit start and once it starts hit cancel again and it should unlock. thats what i did anyway.
If you're getting an F22 error, you will want to check anything to do with the door latch switch.

TAKE 3 SCREWS OUT THAT HOLD THE BOTTOM FRONT PIECE REACH UP BEHIND AND ON THE DOOR LOCK MECHANISM THERE IS A ROUND PLASTIC DOOHICKEY PULL IT DOWN ABOUT 1/2 AN INCH OR AS FAR AS YOU CAN AND IT WILL UNLOCK THE DOOR.
