I have a ir5070 that is getting a E000584 AND E00014. Trying to find a list of error code descriptions but now luck. Anyone know what they mean or why I am getting these?

the error 14 is fixing unit error a dn 584 is finisher shutter error
first disconnect the finisher and solve the fixing error 14
reset the error
copier>function>clear>err>ok and reboot
once the unit is ready to copy run 10 copies to confirm
then connect the finisher and solve the next error 584

Rheem model 41vrp40n flashes twice and stops working

Error code means that you have electronic gas control valve.

Copy following link to identify gas control valve, read error code meanings for each, and download service manual relevant to each gas control, but not specifically Rheem since rheem does not post service manuals.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-troubleshoot-gas-water-heater.html#intellivent

The fact that water heater restarts, means that water heater is getting gas, getting sufficient air for combustion, thermister is ok, gas pressure is good, etc.
The fact that you unplug and replug water heater and it works, shows that you have power vent model.
Since water heater worked correctly before, 2 flashes with Rheem power vent model could mean that pressure switch has failed.

My Lexmark X6170 won't print or partially prints e-mail. Also it won't copy in black but will copy in color? When this happens I get the 0502 error message. Any idea as to what is wrong and how to...

The 0502 error code indicates either a faulty cartridge is detected or the encoder strip (transparent strip) is dislodged from its position. Refer to this article in the Lexmark website on Error 0502 on the Lexmark X6150/X6170 Printer LCD Display to determine and resolve the problem. Thanks.

What does the error 0502 mean when you are trying to make a copy.I am using the Lexmark X6170 All in One..

Hardware Error: 0502. On the multi function machine seems to be a coating on the metal rod that the cartridges travel on. Just wipe this rod with a kleenex and the problem seems to go away. Somehow it presents a drag on the cartridges and causes an error. This from Clem.

Error Code???

The 0502 error can be caused by four different issues:
    1. A contaminated encoder strip
    2. An unseated encoder strip
    3. A faulty black/photo cartridge
    4. A faulty color cartridge

When Y make "scanning" from Pc,ist O.K.When Y will copy,sed "error 502 "

Part printing can indicate a few issues. Have you cleaned the heads and cartridges, and wherte they sit manually or with printers own cleaning program?

Error Message

The scanner lock is used to keep the printer from being damaged when it is being shipped. To unlock it, just open the printer and push the scanner lock down. When you lift up the scanner unit, (like what you do to get to the cartridges) the scanner lock is on the left of the underside of the scanner unit. You can get the manual from the Lexmark Website at http://www.lexmark.com/publications/eng/x6100/index.html
