Question about Fuji FinePix S5000 Digital Camera
When i turned my camera on this morning the viewing screen shows pink. Any pictures I take are pink.
Previous pictures taken can be viewed normally. However any pictures taken today are all pink. Any suggestions.
If it's pink/purple and "streaky", you have a bad CCD sensor. The only fix is replacement of the sensor. This is the main image capturing sensor in the camera. The situation is well documented on the web. It's usually the end of the camera, unless it's under warranty (or just a little past). Approaching Fuji's repair department can sometimes yield a sympathetic rep who'll have it fixed at no charge to you. If you are on the hook for the repair, expect to drop about $100 US.
