I want to load my printer to my PC but i do not have software CD, tell me where from i can download the software.

Go to the Canon website in support area choose your model and download newest drivers. Install the new drivers and your done.

install your printer and sound driver from your cd installation.. or down load it from the net.. find your sound driver at http://www.driverskit.com/ the best sound driver is realtek..

Turn on your laptop and let it finish loading the desk top. Then turn on your printer (but dont connect it to your laptop yet). After the printer has powered up, connect it to your laptop. Watch the laptop screen on the lower right hand side to see if it acknowledges the printer now connected and automatically searches for the necessary drivers. If it does, then follow the prompts and it will tell you when its finished and the printer is ready to use.

If you connect the printer and the pc does not acknowledge that it has been connected, then you will need to download the software to run the printer from Canon's website. Just go there and enter your printer model and download the software for free.

Make sure you install the software without the printer connected to your pc. Connect the printer afterwards for best results.

hey i also had this type of problem. but i solved it and hope it will solve yours too.
first of all uninstall all ur hp drivers and softwares related to the hp printer. then restart your pc. now disconnect ur printer with ur computer and turn it off and again on after 15 secs.
now insert the cd which i have got with the hp printer in the cd-driver of ur pc and install the driver.
after the installation is complete, connect ur printer, but do not remove ur cd.
then start scanning, and if it will again ask for installing driver, u dont have to worry it will install it from the cd.
this would surely help u, if problem persists, please tell me.

2)click properties and then click hardware n go to device manager.
3)uninstall all usb ports and then scan for hardware changes
4)ur pc will detect your printer and ask for printer drivers
5)re load drivers and your pc will communicate with your printer
6)for reloding install the cd follow the instructions on the screen and click next
7)restart when the printer is loded.connect the wires and cords properly.

When installing drivers/software it is generally a good practice to -



·                                 Delete old/previous installs
·                                 Leave printers USB cable disconnected from computer until newly installed software requests it to be connected.

Put the cd in the computer, and see if there is a setup.exe file, or something of the sort on the CD itself.

Also, you can download the drivers from dells website. Your install cd may be bad. Your computer may also need to be updated, sometimes you need to log into http://www.update.microsoft.com/
and there may be drivers for it there on the bottom of a custom update.

If you tell the wizard to find the drivers automatically, it sometimes only looks for it on the hard drive of your pc. Tell it to install the drivers from a specific location, then select "from a removable medium". You can also try installing it from a specific location, click browse, and try to find the location of the drivers on the Dell installation cd.

If you are downloading the vista drivers, why are you loading the cd?

Just double click the driver download to install.

If you are wanting to install additional printer software that came on the driver cd, you can most likely download the software updates at the same place you downloaded the drivers.
