Question about Whirlpool LCR5232H Top Load Washer
My washer had just done one load, and I put in another and it threw the trip switch for the house electrics. Now, every time I switch it on, it throws the trip again. You can vaguely smell electrics when it was running, but now doesn't stay on long enough (without throwing the fuses again) to try and determine where or even if that's what's happening. Nothing looks burnt around the electrics. No water is leaking anywhere.
Any idea what I should be looking for, or why it would do this? The machine is almost three years old. It gets used regularly, but I wouldn't say heavily. Maybe one to two loads a week. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Hi there......possibly couple reasons for this....(1) faulty heater.......(2) where the mains lead enters the machine it connects to a mains filter unit..this unit may have broken down and leaking to earth....try this area first
