To verify the wireless network connection status, please
go to the Network Connection Window. For Windows XP, Click on Start. Click
on Run. Enter "ncpa.cpl" and click OK. For Windows 7 or Windows
Vista, go to "Search programs and files" box. Enter "ncpa.cpl"
and hit the Enter key.
If you see the wireless network connection icon is disabled
in the Network Connections Window, you may double click on it to enable
the connection. Should it is still disabled an no way to be enabled, you
may have a AntiVirus software (for example, Kaspersky, ZoneAlarm, Trend
Micro Internet Security...etc) installed in your computer and it disabled
the wireless connection.
You may completely remove the antivirus software from your computer and restart the computer. Check the wireless connection can be enabled. Then you can re-install the antivirus software.
