My e71 mouth piece is no can i repair it?

First you have be ensure that the microphone is just place in right order. if the mic doesn't right place then it can not connect with it motherboard as a result, it will not work. then if the solve is okay then i understand that the microphone has damaged or became week, for this reason it can not work.

Well, now follow my instructions, you will check the mouth piece by multimeter that means the indicator of multimeter point in X1 place. If your mic is okay then you shall hear a beep sound that means it is ok otherwise not. if not you have to change you microphone means mouth piece. thanks and keep communicate with me.

E71 mic is not woking if my cell idle for 8 to 10 hour.any sugations apart from visting nokia care.

Hi,when you make call and people can not hear you when you speak, it means that the mouth piece of the phone your using is damaged. Is the same as mic...

The mouth piece is located at the lower part of the phone .To get to when the mouth piece is found, you will need to unscrew the phone.

It's always found at the lower end of the phone where the position of your mouth stays when making calls.

Ones you replace the mouth piece,Every body will hear you when you call..

Please if no idea of how to unscrew the phone, contact a phone repair man or go to any outlet close to the house for replace of mouth piece for your phone.

Take care and thanks fro using fixya.

I can hear people on my Nokia E71 but they can't hear me! How can this be fixed?

i dont think this is a physical fault. i havnt dropped or spilled water around my e71 but the same thing happens every couple of months, the mic cuts out mid call.
to fix it, scientific method, record some video and literally palmmash the keyboard when its recording. keep playing it back every ten seconds or so and soon the mic starts working again. dunno how, dunno why, its really annoying, but this has sorted it every time so far..
