I assume you mean "panorama".
Full instructions are in the "Taking Pictures for a Panorama" section of the manual (page 38 in my copy). If you need a manual, you may download one here.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Nikon Coolpix 2100/3100/3200 battery compartment door latch broken (again)

I just purchased a new battery door for $15 with shipping from nikon. They sent a simple assembly diagram and I was able to replace the door in 30 minutes. I used a dremel to cut the old door off, but you dont have to do that. I got a little impatient.

Just buy the plastic piece and u can reuse the metal parts for your old battery door.

SOURCE: nikon coolpix 4300 monitor lights up and displays

It is time to replace that camera. If the sensor is bad it will not take pictures, if the play back does not work it will take picture but no show. If you camera wont do either than it is too far gone for repair and should be replaced.

Nikon COOLPIX S5200 will not charge or come on.....almost new!!! :(

You need to return it for a replacement while it is new. Try returning it to the store for a replacement first. If they won't replace it, contact Nikon. Never try to fix a brand new item. It will void the warranty.

Nikon Coolpix L 810

It would help to know if the lens extends when you turn on the camera. Assuming it does and that you have made a setting error rather than a functional issue; reset your menu settings. If you do not have a copy of the L810 instruction manual, you can download it for free at http://cdn-10.nikon-cdn.com/pdf/manuals/coolpix/L810RM_CH(11)03.pdf. Go to page 65 and follow the reset instructions. If you still have the problem, contact Nikon Service at 1-800-645-6687 between 9AM and 8PM EST, Monday through Friday for a repair estimate and instructions.

I want to buy a digital camera , there are 2 brand of my choice one is nikon digital coolpix series & second is canon digital ixus series within the price range 11 to 12 k, so pls guide me which brand...

The best for you to decide is to decide on by yourself with the follwoing tips:
Take a trial shot using both the cameras in close up , portrait and scenes. and also using the flash. Now check the clarity to confirm your taste.
The customere controls are they friendly to you?
Finally check for accessories that come free along , stand, covers, memorry cards, chargers etc.
The price is the last to decide between Nikon and Canon.

I want to change the size of a 6x4 inch photo and make it 4x6; however, the nikon software doesn't seem to have this function. Any suggestions?

Do you mean change from landscape to portrait? This is referred to as "rotate". Your Nikon software should have this function in the view or edit menu. I don't know what other programs are on your computer but I'll bet another one can do the same thing.

Look for a reset function in camera manual If no manual download one - if nada, then contact Nikon customer service for inside assistance with dilemma. Due to high cost of camera repairs you just might have to go shopping.

Nikon Coolpix 4600: Problem: It won't take any photos, it reads: THIS CARD CANNOT BE USED. The card is 128 MB. I purchased a new card: 2GB but it won't work also. My manual says to clean the contacts...

1) Have you formatted the cards?

2) Try the cards in the card reader in your computer to see if they can be read.

3) Try the "switch off camera - remove and replace battery - switch on camera" trick with the original 128 Mb card in place. This will reset the camera's memory.

4) Note the type of card is important - not all cards can be used in a camera (especially some of the latest bigger ones) - check the type of cards supported by your camera.

I found this at the Nikon USA site (note that the 2 GB card is not listed - as said "Cards are not all the same" and use different drivers to operate them):

Question Which Secure Digital Cards are approved for use in the Coolpix 4600/5600? trnsp.gif Answer The Nikon Quality Department has tested the following cards and approved their use in the Coolpix 4600/5600:

SD memory cards:
SanDisk 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB, 256 MB, 256 MB*, 512 MB, 512MB*, 1 GB
Panasonic 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB, 256 MB*, 512 MB*,1 GB
Toshiba 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB, 128 MB*, 256 MB, 256 MB*, 512 MB

*High speed type of 10 MB/s or over

Other brands and capacities of cards may work, but Nikon cannot guarantee their operation. Check with the manufacturer of the third-
party card for compatibility information. Nikon recommends keeping one of the approved cards available for troubleshooting.

No memory card will work in my Coolpix camera

Nikon has tested the following cards and approved their use in the Coolpix 3200:

SD memory cards:
SanDisk 16/32/64/128/256MB
Panasonic 16/32/64/128/256/512
Toshiba 16/32/64/128/256MB

Other brands and capacities of cards may work, but Nikon cannot guarantee their operation. Check with the manufacturer of the third-party card for compatibility information. Nikon recommends keeping one of the approved cards available for troubleshooting.

Multi Media cards (MMC) are not recommended and should not be used.
