I turned the power off over night last night and it didn't work. Also, the remote is still working on the sound system. Also, the TV is a pioneer, about 52 inch. Its attached to the wall and i can't read what modle it is. About 10 years old. The sound of the TV is still coming through the sound system but the TV wont turn on. I just tried what you said and it still doesn't work.

I don't know the modle. It's not the TV blinking. The TV does not show any picture. It does not turn on. The standby light, whitch is red, is flashing (LED light) .

There is a gerral hardware failure in the TV(sounds like the something on the board)since lights come on the power supply is good. How old is the TV?? you will have to have a tech come out or repair it yourself. Let me knoiw the age of the TV so I can try to get some warranty info.

Turn the power off at the mains for at least 2 mins then try again sometimes the standby relay coil needs to be fully discharged for it to work correctly also change the battery in the remote

Have a LG 55ls5700 tv that doesn't turn on but the red standby comes on and when i press the power button it starts to blink

Does the screen quickly blink on and then off? Does the standby light slowly blink twice and then go out?If these are the symptoms then it is probably a bad led backlight strip. This was the fault with my lg 47ln540v led lcd tv.I have written this up in a previous post more comprehensively.Hope this helps..

My Sony Trinitron tv is not turning on. It has turned on a couple of times, but the standby light on the front is blinking. WHat's wrong?

Sony TV LED & Blinking Codes - What Does It Mean When Standby/Timer Light Flashes

Sony has provided a "self-diagnosis function" with your TV, that in the case of abnormalities or problems the LED or red blinking light on the Timer/Standby indicator flashes a number of times to indicate the issue.
when there is trouble with your Sony Television set -- it indicates the issue in either the diagnostic mode, or even more commonly by flashing a series of LED blinks or flashes on the front of your television. Each set or frequency of the blinks indicates a very specific problem with the television itself.
Sorry but unless you may be able to repair the television set yourself , please call a local repair shop to the have a repairman sent out,,

I have a Sony KDS-R50XBR1 that has no picture. When I turn on the TV, the green Power/Standby LED light blinks for about 30 seconds, then turns red and blinks five times. The Power/Standby LED repeats...

  • Five blinks - AKB circuit (automatic kine bias), the timer/standby indicator blinks for about 30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function. Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761 and other components on the C board, also check Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK blanking, try turning up screen A2 slightly.

Tv turns on then turns off and the standby led starts blinking

Standby light blinking is sign or internal problem in tv and how many times it blinks is error code that will show what section of tv got problem. Count light blinks and let me know, there would be 3 seconds long pause in blinks so count pause to pause.
