To my current knowledge it is not possible, but as Wii discs have similar decoding as DVDs, try http://www.acc.umu.se/~jonta/mirror/DVD.html

Well i bought a game called 2k8 basketball here in philippines, but i bought my xbox on australia, then i tryed my game and it said, ( The disc's region code is incorrect for this consol ) so how can i...

Sorry you can't fix it. Most games are Region specific meaning that they are playable only on Xbox 360 systems from the specific region that you have. If you bought your Xbox 360 in Australia then it is likely PAL system and can only play Pal games.

"Determine whether the game disc is from the same region as the region where you purchased the Xbox console. To determine the region, view the back of the game package. Look for one of the following codes:

* NTSC: North America and South America (United States, Canada, Mexico, Chile, and Brazil)
* NTSC-J: Asia (Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan)
* PAL: Europe, South Africa, India, Australia, and New Zealand"

If the game you have doesn't match with your Xbox 360 Region then you won't be able to play it. (but a few games are playable on multiple regions, check list below)

Check out this site prior to buying games to help identify which games that aren't PAL might be still playable on your system.: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-00-3-xbox360_compatibility_guide-49-en-84-t.html

Notice that NBA 2K8 US version is not compatible with PAL system. If you had bought the US version of NBA 2K9 then it would have worked.

Will not play dvd's...it says the region code is not correct!! but games are fine

This is not a problem with your PS3. DVD's come with a region code lock that won't allow the disc to be played if it's in the wrong region. This is a common occurrence when movies are bought off the internet from different countries. There is nothing you can do about it that I know of, save for returning the discs for a different region code. Thanks.

How can i unlock region coding

You cannot unlock the Blu-Ray region of the PS3. You should try and get Blu-Ray discs that are not region locked in the future.

Error, remove disc, turn power off

In Singapore, your region is considered "Asia." The simplest way to play Wii games on a Wii from a different region was using Datel's Freeloader disc, but unfortunately Nintendo has patched their firmware blocking the use of this. There are other ways to modify your console to play games from other regions, but all carry a high pricetag and a great deal of risk, and Nintendo can patch the firmware to detect your modification and stop your system from working. You might consider importing a Wii from the UK using Play-Asia.com or a similar retailer. Best of luck!

American DVDs unable to play for my PS3

At this time the region lock on ps3 only includes DVD and ps1-2 titles. Although some games will have the 80028F10 error. Most ps3 and blue ray will play without problems, my only suggestion being that if you are in the US, make sure you get a US ps3.

hope this helps.

PS3 80gb from Singapore will not play ps2 games Wrong region displayed

I,m pretty sure that the region settings on PS3s are factory set.
Your only option is to buy japanese games, or NTSJ.
I,d try to re-sell it back to someone in Singapore or Japan, and buy a UK Version.

Region codes

No, you can't change the region codes. If at all possible I would take it back to the store and slap the salesperson!!!

Failing that, all games are not region coded, so you can play aus games on that machine. It seems the only thing it won't play is some blueray discs.
