Question about HP Photosmart Premium C309A All-In-One Printer
The SSID is the NAME given to the WIFI Connection, given Out, by a router, or AP. This "Name" is broadcast, and the "Client's" WiFi, "Sees" this signal, identified, by the SSID, NAME, of that network connection. This Name, or SSID is given during the initial setup of the Router AP, for the very first time. When ever a "Client" PC, wishes to "connect" to something, it has to know it's identity, this is what the SSID is, simply a name or an identity, of the "Whatever. a, Router, Printer, WiFi card, AP, anything all have individual "Names" or SSID's. So you need to use you PC, and search, for the SSID that you want, is a router, is being used, unplug, and leave for a few mins and restart, restart the PC, too, make sure WiFi adapter is turned ON & Enabled. Also has a current WiFi Driver. If you have all things correct, but you still cannot "find" the SSID, then perhaps the device, sending the SSID, has gone faulty, you need to check, with another PC, to see if the SSID is actually being transmitted. Similarly, you should check, on a known good SSID, and see if you can pick, that one up and connect, doing that will isolate your problem
