Question about Panasonic Video Cameras

1 Answer

I want to connect my older panasonic pv-d300 palmcorder to my computer. I have a 7 pin s video connector on the computer. the palmcorder has a/v out to male rca plugs (yellow, white, red). Will an s-video to composite female rca and a separate 2 female rca to headphone work? Or is there an easier solution?

I'm betting the s video connector in your computer is for video out to a television. What you need is a video in connector. For that you need to buy a cheap analog video capture card. You get get one for 25-50 bucks. That card will encode the analog video signal from your camcorder sp you can watch it and save it on your computer. google Hauppage pvr150 for example. Good Luck

I need free download of driver software for Panasonic PV-DV910 palmcorder for my pc with widows 7

There are none to download. Panasonic suggests the following when the computer fails to recognize the camera:

  • After re-inserting the SD card into this unit, reconnect the supplied USB cable.
  • Select another USB terminal on the PC.
  • Connect the supplied USB cable again after restarting the PC and turning the unit on.
  • Digital Palmcorder Camcorder

I have a Mac Apple PC and the panasonic Palmcorder PVDV 2030, how can I download video into my computer?

I think the problem with this camera is that you have to download to your PC with a USB cable, hardly ever works with most new PC's with Win 7 or Vista as camera drivers are not built-in.
The firewire is the way to download if your PC has one okay, good luck.

How do I connect my Panasonic PV-L353 palmcoreder to my computer

You don't give enough details. More details would help.

I have a Panasonic IQ PV-IQ403 old palmcorder. I know how to connect it to a TV screen. I am not sure how a camcorder would connect to a computer. Maybe this information can be of help to you. I have separate flap door covering my RCA connections on my camera, located near the battery compartment. I just plug one end of the RCA cord into those connectors and the other end into the RCA connectors on my TV. I have to change the power switch on my camera over to the VCR position (take it off of the camera position). The TV has to be on channel 3 (or 4). I push play on my camera, and I can see what I have recorded on my TV screen.
This might work on your computer monitor. I am not an expert, but this information may be helpful.

    Transferring Video to my Laptop

For this purpose, you must have a USB cable that connects your palmcorder to your laptop. It must be there in its box itself.

After connecting, please insert the CD that came with your palmcorder and install the software. If you don't have the CD, then you can download the required software from this below mentioned link:

    Palmcorder

You shouldn't. The PV-DV203 means it is one of Panasonic's MiniDV, digital cancorders. You should only need the cable(s) supplied with the camera, and either a FireWire or USB port available on your computer. Windows Movie Maker should be able to download the video and allow you to edit it.
