Question about Whirlpool LER4634J Electric Dryer
The dryer seems to be running but there is no heat, when I open the door it is cool inside.
Probably the heating coil has failed.
It is a simple, plug-in replacement.
To locate it, unplug the main power cord then remove the lower back panel. The heating coil is located in the air intake path and secured by 2 screws. Remove the 2 screws, remove the 2 power wires. Take it to the local appliance repair parts shop and get a replacement. Should be up and running for under 35 dollars.
