Question about Farmall International Tractor 140 Radiator
Have a IH-140 (1977 - 12volt) that is missing when accelerating. I have changed points, plugs, Distributor Cap, rotor button. Also disassembled carburator - cleaned jets to no avail. Runs as if it is fuel related - but unable to tell for certain. suggestions / tips ???

SOURCE: slow acceleration low on power
have you checked fuel filters? make sure that fuel shutoff valve is fully open, and that your fuel is clean/water-free,and hasn't cold-weather gelled

SOURCE: I have a propane Farmall
To keep that from happening, consider cutting and fitting cardboard to slip up under the hood and notch it to where it slides into the frame. I still do that with sheets of 1/4" plastic for the tractors that sit outside. This sheds rainwater from the generators, carbs and distributors. It also keeps the carbs from icing up in cold weather.
