Can I hook up 2 separate power amps to PMP3000? I need 2 sperate ones. One for a Subwoofer, and One for my main speakers. Here's a description for Subwoofer: The Output will be from mixer. It will go out from “Main 2” located on top of mixing board. It will be a 1/4 to XLR which connects to the Crossover. The crossover then goes to power amp, which is XLR to 1/4 . Then from the power amp it will go to the subwoofer. Which is a Speakon to Speakon.
Here's Description for Main Speakers: Goes from “Main 1” on the mixing oard, to the EP4000. Which is a 1/4 to 1/4. Then the Peavey’s conncet to the EP4000 which is Speakon to 1/4.

Better way... Connect the main speakers via the Speakons and then put a Power Subwoofer to one of the Monitor connections IF you are not using both stage monitors. If you need to kill the lows to the mains, use the EQ in the PMP-3000.
Use the EQ that is USUALLY on the subwoofer to kill the highs to the sub.
Lot less cables and hardware.
REMEMBER for equipment safety, power ALL interconnected equipment from the same source be it a receptacle or power distribution system.
Powering parts of a system from receptacles strewn around a room is asking for trouble of ground loops and ground faults.

As opposed to front of house? If you want separate amplification of a monitor system then use either the aux send channels or sub-channel outputs or control room outputs (but check these are not amplified already) connected to a separate amplifier to power your passive monitors
If you are using the amp in stereo mode, then you will require a separate amp for the monitors and the input of that amp are taken using BALANCED TRS cables from the monitor jacks. If you are using the amp as MONO and monitor, then connect NO MORE than two 8 ohm speakers to the Speakon plug on the back labeled for use as monitor. Refer to your user manual... they have detailed photos of the connections. If you lost your manual, you can download another from the Behringer site. There are settings you need to do to configure the unit after connecting your speakers. The small slide switch has to be set to the center position for Main/Mon. Make sure it is centered as many people have had it slightlyu off and the system will NOT pass audio. You need to set each channel "monitor 1" level control to send the monitor signal to the MONITOR mixing bus. You will then use the MONITOR 1 slider to control the amount sent to the monitor. Be VERY careful of grounding the sleeve of 1/4 inch jacks that originate at the Speakon power amp outputs as the SLEEVE of channel A is the HOT side and you can blow the power amp for the channel... it is EXPENSIVE to repair.
There is no crossover arrangement. On the PMP5000 they have a tunable filter INTENDED to do low pass for a subwoofer. When selecting this mode for a subwoofer The frequency of the low pass filter can be set between 30 and 200 Hz. This feature is NOT available on the PMP3000.
There is nothing related to a crossover in these amps other than what is mentioned above.
The MONO out is merely an analog summation of both the L and R channels.
This is NOT convenient with the 2000 unit...ASSUMING you subwoofer has mid and high frequency cutoff built in, what you should do is to mix the two preamp signals in a small mixer and send those to a POWERED subwoofer OR to an amplifier that is driving the subwoofer.
The fuse protects the power supply. The power amps have failed. The usual cause is an arc between layers of the multi-layer circuit board. The labor to repair the power amp module is extensive. I have repaired several.
You can find new amp modules and I would purchase a new one and drop into your unit. The amp module is an HCA2400.
There is probably $15 of parts blown in each side of the power amp and it takes about 6 hours to repair. One has to grind out the burned area (internal layers not necessarily visible on surface) and re-insulate and then install jumper wires to replace those taken out.
Each side of the amp will likely take out 3 switching MOSFET transistors and often a Zener diode. Sometimes a low resistance metering resistor will be fried with smoky residue underneath the board. When this happens two small surface mounted resistors will be blown open. Great care has to be taken when insulating the board damage and replacement of the blown circuit traces.
You can find HCA2400 power amp module replacements for about $175 online.
Use of the unit as an unpowered mixer is a bit dangerous as if arc re-establishes it can fry the power supply taking out two very expensive IGBT's and many other components. If the mixer still works, then your whole power supply is still OK.
This unit will put out around 400 Watts a side. PLENTY !
If you want a sub, either get a powered one or an amp for it and run off the MON output.
CAUTION: NEVER permit the speaker cable to be removed or interrupted whilc power is on... you will arc out the rear most amp in the unit... I know... I fix them... There si a bit of weak insulation that can arc through on a circuit board.
If you ever have a fuse blow, DO NOT replace it, you will do further damage inside the unit... take it for service.
Don't have the pin lay out but the power supply is a transformer with two isolated secondaries. The blue & brown leads come from the 20VAC 200mA and the black & white 11VAC @ 800mA windings. I used two doorbell transformers (and a rheostat for the 11VAC section). The reason for two transformers is the secondaries MUST be isolated or something will fry!
